Cranial Osteopathy is a technique used by osteopaths. It is a very gentle and effective hands-on therapy which aims to restore health and balance in the body. On my website there is information about what Cranial Osteoapthy is, how it works and what it can treat. There is also information about me and how I can help you.
Please look at the testimonials to see what other parents have said about me. If you have any questions at all, please use the Contact Information page to send me an email. Finally, there is a page of useful links and a glossary for those technical words. I have worked with babies and children ever since I qualified as an osteopath in 1997, and I am also a mother.

What is Cranial Osteopathy
Report
Osteopathy is a "hands on" therapy based on the theory that some disorders can be alleviated by the treatment of the skeleton and muscles using manipulation and massage. It comes from the Greek words osteon meaning bone and patheia meaning feeling. It literally translates as bone-feeling.
An osteopath spends many years training to develop a very fine sense of palpation to enable them to feel and effectively listen via their hands to what is going on in the body.

I am based in East Grinstead, which is in easy reach of the M23 (motorway for Gatwick and Brighton) and the southern part of the M25 (nearest junction is 6). East Grinstead lies right on the borders of East and West Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
The closest areas are Felbridge, Turner's Hill, Crawley Down, Forest Row, Lingfield, Horley and all areas of Crawley and Horsham, but I am also accessible from Oxted, Redhill and Reigate, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Uckfield, Crowborough, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. They have both developed into very happy and alert little girls, and I am obviously delighted with their progress.
