Lucy is Sarah's sister and has been part of the Arragons Cycles team from the beginning. She is the only member of our team confessing not to be a cyclist, although she has two children who love to ride! Lucy takes control of our clothing department from selecting ranges on style and practicality. If you're looking for a bike for your child, Lucy can help with sizing advice and making some adjustments for best fit.
She will also help with colour matching helmets and clothing for kids! Customer Service is important to Lucy, she has evolved her role to help with special orders and if you are unlucky to have a warranty issue, she will make sure this is sorted for you as swiftly as possible. Chris first joined Arragons Cycles as a Saturday Assistant when he was just 16.

We aren't a registered club, but want to make our shop #YourHub. The concept was realised when no less than 13 friends of Arragons Cycles entered Ironman Barcelona.

Me and two friends hired some e-bikes on Monday until Wednesday to cycle around the lake district for the duration of our stay. The service was absolutely amazing. Sarah was really accommodating of our requests and she never once made it seem like a hassle. The bikes were amazing and simple to use, and really made it easy to get to and from penrith to martindale in the lake district and was great at alleviating the strain of the uphill battles with normal mountain bikes! I would highly recommend their hire service, and they can even deliver the bikes to you for an extra cost. Amazing customer service

Amazing service - highly recommend. I'm up from London with cycling gear but no bike so rented a Genesis road bike. Bike was high quality and in good nick, but more importantly Sarah at the shop set it up to my spec with pedals to fit my shoes and mount for my bike computer plus a helmet as I forgot mine, all delivered to the hotel then collected afterwards. Great service

I was in the middle of completing the Lands End to John O'Groats ride when I hit a pot hole and cracked by rear wheel. I contacted Arragon's cycles and they were very helpfull and had a possible replacement set of wheels in stock. I got a lift to Penrith and took my bike to the shop and wihin 3 hours my wheels were replaced with new tyres. I normally run tubeless and they contacted me very concerned that they only had 1 tibeless tyre in stock and did I mind having a mix on the bike, I of course said not at all. The guys and girl at the shop were extremely helfull and worked past their closing time

We rented two e-bikes for three days which was a fantastic choice for exploring the Lake District. The batteries lasted for a long time and the bikes were very easy to use. Arragon Cycles was really accommodating - we were able to return the bikes on a Bank holiday even though they were closed. Sara offered to meet us at the shop so that we could drop them off. Thank you for making our trip so worthwhile! We recommend renting these bikes and using Arragon’s Cycle service for anyone visiting the Lake District.

I see three stars as average and feel my feedback is justified.
The start was not good, i called with a problem with my ultegra lever which at the time was still within the 2 yr warranty. On the phone they quickly jumped to the assumption of it being 'wear and tear' .. They had not even looked at the bike (which almost 2 years old had only done 1600) miles which any keen cyclists would have done in 6 months. So this frustrated me as i knew it was not wear and tear.
I explained the issue and explained the lever had been looked at by 2 other shops prior so had the proof of the issue being within

Sarah and Phil serviced my bike last week after it had sat neglected in my garage for a few years and it had a few minor issues. I got the bike back the next day and she’s like a brand new machine! Running so smooth. Went for a little test ride and ended up doing a 12 mile ride up and down steep hills with ease. Thank you so much, I will be recommending you to everyone and now I’m really looking forward to getting back on the saddle. 👍🏻🚴🏻💨💨💨

Thank you to Sarah, Phil and all the staff. Can not recommend these guys enough. Even during Covid these guys cannot do enough for you. It’s taken me a long time to decide to upgrade my bike to an electric bike due to arthritis and they have got several bikes in for me to try and helped me get the bike that’s right for me. Their customer service is 5 star. It has given me back my love of cycling again. Thanks
