Gokyuzu Restaurant
You've reached the home of deliciously authentic and fabulously fresh Turkish dining in London. Here at Gkyz we have almost 20 years' experience of recreating the mouth-watering dishes that we first tasted in our grandparents' kitchen in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. We've borrowed our families' traditional recipes and used them as inspiration to create the menus for our much-loved and acclaimed Turkish restaurants in North London.

Gkyz means 'sky' in Turkish, and lovers of the fresh tastes and uplifting flavours of the Mediterranean will find our food heavenly. From succulent kebabs and a huge array of meat dishes to freshly caught seafood and wide selection of Turkish pizzas and authentic appetisers, you'll find everything at Gkyz is carefully sourced and deliciously prepared to our exacting standards.

If you are going with a large family avoid this place at all costs and spend your money elsewhere. I read several other reviews about the female manager being rude and we had the same experience… 0 customer service skills and manners. Owners of this branch really need to sort their management team out before customers start dropping like flies.
Called beforehand for a table they said they don’t take bookings only walk ins and a table is available right away, we waited 30 mins for a table then another 45 minutes for the food which came cold…on top of that managing lady was extremely rude

Really tasty food at good prices. We had the chicken wings, sea bass and baklava and it was all excellent. Large portions and really good value for money. This place is always packed whatever day of the week which says something. Staff all very friendly

First visit here, but would return. Huge place and absolutely full - friends, families, birthday celebrations, so a great atmosphere - quite loud but clever design so didn't feel squashed in. Food was excellent and lots of staff so slick, efficient service. Not enough space in restaurant's own car park so next time would just park in closest bit of main complex car park and walk over.

I have visited the branch in Green Lanes, I was very disappointed, I read many good reviews about this branch so I said give it a try, honestly it was not that great, the food was good but not exceptional, I have been at better similar Turkish restaurants in London, prices are high than average but the decoration is nice and service is professional, so you pay for the place, presentation of the plats is so modest, the only surprising thing is the kunafa was so delicious, small size but better than what I expected after we had the food. Another good thing is free parking but limited spaces.

By far the most authentic Turkish restaurant in London. Food is delicious and the portions are very big. Only drawback is it’s always very busy on weekends and service can be slow. Better to come on a weekday. Great place for celebrations. Staff were very helpful and accommodating for my friend’s birthday dinner.

Without a doubt one of the best Turkish restaurants in London. Almost Everything I had there was very delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful but when they are very busy you will have to wait to order something else. During the weekend they are very busy and will be better if you got a booking, otherwise you’ll have to wait. The humus was amazing. Lamb chops as well. The baklava was very expensive in my opinion - £6.50 and it wasn’t something special.

Great restaurant, great food, great service only one let down on the visit is delay in food order being taken and arrival of food ordered to our table apart from that this is one place I'm always recommending for my friends and family to try out and I've been many times before here and at the a406 branch both are very good and lively to eat at here's some picture for my followers and subscribers 😀 😋

From time to time - when a group of us go out for a meal - Gokyuzu fits perfectly. The grilled meats and accompaniments are a delight for young kids, adults and not so young adults as well. The place has plenty of room, specially upstairs. There is plenty of space in the esplanade as well, weather permitting.
I used to be a big fan of Lemonia in Primrose Hill but this Turkish place has an edge on almost every aspect in my dining experience.
The parking is an added plus although it can be be full however the Lido spaces can be useful.

I must say that a visit to this Walthamstow location left me pleasantly surprised!

Dining among a party of 12, we made an early evening reservation. The waitstaff quickly sat us upstairs. We were waited on with care and efficiency, which we appreciate!

Our party ordered two jumbo platters, each consisting of lamb shish, chicken shish, adana kebab, lamb ribs, chicken wings, and lamb chops (YAS!). Each portion of meat was super tender and delicious. I was especially a fan of the chicken shish -- this place did a fantastic job of not overcooking chicken breast, which can be fairly easy to do.

Went for a family dinner to my hairdresser's favourite Turkish restaurant in London, Chingford's Gökyüzü. We ordered the following:

- Full Platter

It's a relatively decent mix of nicely barbecued lamb and chicken served with a generous amount of rice and bulgur. The chicken wings were the surprise hit edging out the lamb ribs which were also tasty.

Not quite the best Turkish food I've ever had and the staff forgot our order of lahmacun so not a repeatable experience for me.

I have been here several times and find myself here again now which in itself is a testament to the good food they serve here (top tip: bring your eatin' pants if you're going for a huge platter!).
Standard Turkish menu of hot and cold Meze's, lahmacun, kebabs from the charcoal grill and the usual Turkish specials.
We are blessed with a number of Turkish restaurants in the area serving similar food and even then the quality of their food here is amongst the best I've had.

That said, the thing that sets this apart from other establishments is the restaurant itself. It is modern
