Karamel Restaurant
We are open again with a full bar, craft beers, vegan wines, great music, spoken word events, & vegan food offer. Over the summer we have been building up to a full food service, with your favourites and a new focus on World Thalis & delicious vegan Indian dishes. Every week, we have live events featuring jazz, spoken word, kids, world music.

Very home-like, friendly and helpful owners, spacious and comfortable. And of course the food is amazing, big portions (but very low prices for London) and homemade, this place is a keeper! I really enjoyed my time here, what can I say, I'll be going back for sure. An amazing place! Live jazz music and the vegan food is incredible!

Wow! What a surprise. It was just a random visit, on a week day. It turned out there was a jazz concert. I couldn’t see anyone eating but the kitchen was open. I ordered food and it was far above my expectations. Tasting platter was appreciated by my Indian friend for its authenticity. Sausages in a bap were delicious as well.
And this live band. It was a beautiful experience.

Creative and cool venue; we had our work staff away day here, it is a great space. The food is INSANELY good, you would not believe it's vegan. Delicious.
The team here are lovely and friendly.
All the way round, lovely, have to check out one of the jazz nights next!

From walking through the door we were disappointed. Service was slow but they were helpful. Had really been looking forward to trying this place but was a serious let down. If anyone had asked, I would have given feedback face to face, but no one did. The staff seemed sweet (hence the second star - based on the food it would have been one) but completely either overwhelmed or somewhat confused. The food was lukewarm (I suspect due to the confusion there seemed to be around the orders and what was meant to be where) and therefore consistency was unpleasant and also impacted on the taste. I don't

Went on sat night to try some around the world fusion vegan options as per the menu published. However they were serving mostly Indian Gujarati like vada pav, Papdi chaat, platter (dhokla, samosa, patra, kachori, pakoda), masala dosa, etc. it was good atmosphere inside. It was Sat live music night £10 pp. perhaps the menu might have been different due to that. Very friendly staff. Check the menu before you go.

Cool venue. Main space is open and airy. Smaller side room is arty with comfortable sofas. We had lunch and the vegan food was tasty. We'd like to return, maybe to one of their live jazz evenings.

Excited to eat here for the first time recently. Lovely venue, atmosphere, staff, but food a complete let down, not of an acceptable standard; what a pity, won't be back.
£10 for gigs is also too expensive in my opinion.

Without a doubt the best vegan Sunday roast in town! I had the pleasure to visit yesterday and I will be a regular for sure! Both the but roast and the “chicken” and mushroom pie were so tasty! The portion are huge so go hungry! Not to mention the Cheese platter, it was the best fake blue cheese and Brie I ve ever taste! as a vegan, I really couldn’t ask for more! Looking forward to try their burgers and pizza too! Amazing job guys!!

This is a cool place, with acts and DJ's performing (although none during our visit). Great food too - although, far, far too much for one person.
The trimmings included "golden beetroot" which was a first for me, and rather delicious too.

Recently went for a vegan singles night through Meetup. Great bunch of people and decent choice of alcoholic drinks.
Sadly the food was really below par. Pizza seemed to be on a tortilla base, so too thin for the toppings. I tried to order one of 5 dishes, and they had sold out of what I wanted. Didn't fancy the bean chilli or bean burger, as they are boringly familiar, plus seemed pricey. Ended up ordering chips, again what I have to eat everywhere else. You'd think with such a limited menu, they would actually cook fresh chips, but they were definitely from frozen.
I want healthy,

Sad those bad reviewers weren't there last Saturday night, when the cabaret was on. The atmosphere was fantastic, the vegan cocktails lovely, the vegan craft beer well chosen, the vegan curry Cornish pasty and great salad were perfect pub grub. And the fresh coconut, which, when we'd drunk it dry, the staff cut in half and brought to where we were sitting with some spoons? Lovely. Indeed, everything was served by warm, friendly people. And my god, what music! You gotta love any neighbourhood restaurant where the founder of the Brodsky Quartet, pops in and plays the Chaconne while you

A lovely little place a true local gem!
If you're out shopping in Wood Green and you can't face another McBurger, nip to just behind the shopping city and treat yourself to lunch here.
They offer an astounding array of dishes, so there is something for every taste. We opted for the fish & chips and we were not disappointed fresh crispy fish and well cooked chips, and at prices way lower than you'd expect in London. Hurrah!

One to avoid. The menu blurb says they only cook with fresh ingredients every day. That's all very well if you can then treat said products with care
my speciality sausages Which I had for lunch were special as I've never tasted cardboard mixed with oil before
The cabbage which came with them was as soft as a marshmallow. The gravy was a brown sludge.
Onto service. No one took a drinks order when I arrived. When I asked for the bill I had to ask three times because the waitress couldn't understand english
Then as I was waiting to pay she invaded my space by clearing the table rather
