In 2013 we commissioned our Bio Mass boiler, which reduced our carbon emissions from around 80 tonnes a year to just 2. This major investment means that all hot water and heating for the site is produced from a super-efficient boiler that burns locally sourced timber. This allowed the removal of 14 polluting Propane boilers.

From Exeter follow the A380 towards Newton Abbot/Torquay. At Newton Abbot, take the right lane of the dual carriageway and continue over the Newton Abbot flyover signed to Torquay, A380. Absolutely beautiful place and perfect for the kids to roam. Had a wet week but the kids and us were fully entertained and cared for with the pool, games room and other facilities (and animals) around the farm. Run by really lovely people too, thanks so much to Dexter, Paul and Debbie for having us. Looking forward to returning one day!

7 of my friends and I stayed in Rookery cottage for a long weekend, it exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. The grounds are so beautiful, that they even housed a proposal. Two of my friends who have been together for over 6 years got engaged in the woodlands before coming back to celebrate at Rookery. Thanks to the endless picturesque views, we also got some amazing engagement photographs of them! 🌸 From start to end, Gill was a wonderful host. Check-in was simple and easy, and we were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with homemade coconut cake and crunchie ice cream (which,

A beautifully located set of cottages, lots of facilities - tennis, swimming pool, exercise/gym room, farm animals, games room, there really is a lot to do here. They managed our post-lockdown visit with great, unobtrusive but necessary safety measures and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. They have visits from some nice local food trucks during the week which opened up some nice coffee and breakfast options and it was well served by Just-Eat for a final night takeaway too! The cottage we stayed in (Rookery) had great facilities plenty of space and was very nicely placed. The balcony got

Such a fantastic place to stay, Gill and Bill make you feel so incredibly welcome. The cottages are really well equipped and extremely comfortable - proper home from home. The grounds are beautiful and it was wonderful for the children to feed the animals. Great play equipment for children and the newly renovated swimming pool was an absolute hit.
The farm is located in a really pretty village and is a perfect place to explore Devon. Couldn't fault our stay and we would love to go back.
