By pure luck we have discovered this great Indian restaurant when were staying in New Forest lodge last weekend.
We were warmly welcomed right from the beginning and well looked after during our dinner.
The food was delicious. 10 out of 10 to the chef!
The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful.
The opening times are Tuesday to Thursday from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Saturday and Sunday from 5 pm to 10:30 pm.
Sunday from 5 pm to 9:30 pm. Monday is closed.
The car park just outside of the restaurant.
They have also tables outside ( weather permitting of course!).
We have spend great time there

Went here with a friend as we were staying at the new forest lodge next door. One of the best curries I’ve had in ages, nice service and really reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and if I am back in landlord I will go back for sure.

Lovely staff, very accommodating. Sadly the food was bland and lacking the "Wow" factor. Not a memorable meal, certainly wouldn't go back.

Driven past 1000 times live 5 mins away in Whiteparish and only just got my first take away from there the other night and what can I say! I shall be going back. My order was on time and met with a friendly smile. Look forward to using again and again.

Found the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The food was incredible and we enjoyed our feast. My partner and I had both opted to not have rice and I think we had a better meal for that.
Although the restaurant is wheelchair friendly there is no disabled toilet.
We would thoroughly recommend a visit here.

Such lovely food! Very clean interior, very kind staff. Highly recommend.

Service was slow, about 45 mins to get our food, by this time we were full from the starter. The waiter also spilt about quarter of a glass of red wine on me by accident.

Lovely location, pleasant environment, however was bought out a wrong meal, just lucky I didn't have an allergy or something, I ordered chicken pathia but was given a prawn curry, didn't notice till I ate the yucky thing I hate sea food,
Not much interaction from staff to see if we were happy with the meal or service. Didnt get offered a refund or apology

Staying in a nearby guest house, this was the only food within walking distance, but after a long day, it was welcome, hot, tasty and filling.

However, on closer inspection, the... chicken (?)... was dry and looked and tasted a little processed/low quality. The sauce on my Chicken, mushroom and tomato Shalimar was tasty and nicely spiced. However, there are many restaurants in the midlands which wipe the floor with this place. Average, but good enough if you're hungry.

Probably would have got 5 stars in Minneapolis. I guess England is blessed with many high quality Indians. The lamb gosht is very good ( and not to spicy )

The food here is good enough, but nothing to Yelp about. For my money, I'd keep driving and find a yelp four-star in town (I have one in mind, too).

I ate here a few months ago now, excellent service even though really busy. Really friendly staff too. Best I've had in this area, way too much food though so think carefully before ordering a starter. Can get very busy so booking advised. Enjoy !
