La Fosse B&B and The Restaurant at La Fosse situated in Dorset, close to the borders of Wiltshire and Hampshire, is ideal for exploring all three counties. The scenic Dorset coast is only a 20 minute drive and the New Forest National Park is even closer. Many glorious historic houses and gardens are located in the surrounding area.

Mark and Emmanuelle have gained their passion and experience in various great establishments around the world, including The Chewton Glen Hotel (where they met), Pebble Beach Restaurant, Blantyre Hotel (USA). There are various walks either from Cranborne or nearby, if you fancy getting in the car and going on a little adventure below are a few places which you could visit.

The Restaurant at La Fosse, lead by Mark, has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy delicious food, which is sourced locally, using only the finest ingredients and cooking with the seasons. We are a small husband and wife team with some help of local team members. Mark cooks by himself and cooks to order - we are NOT a Gastro pub style!

We have delicious food, exceptional service, cocktails, chilled champagne and more to celebrate festive December in style. TERMS and CONDITIONS: During December, we please require a 15 non refundable deposit at the time of booking (date can be changed free of charge, subject to availability). Parties of 6 guests or over, we please ask for a food pre order.

Sleep B&B Report

La Fosse Bed and Breakfast, lead by Emmanuelle, has comfortable and elegant en-suite rooms to complement the restaurant where you can have a great nights' sleep. It is the perfect place to unwind. Sadly we do not accept animals, except registered guide dogs. All of our rooms are individually designed.

Our Valentine's 'takeaway' was fabulous. Exquisite food collected from the restaurant and cooked according to the very thorough instructions was divine. The addition of the rose petals & heart-shaped tealights were the icing on the cake! A beautiful evening, thank you

Just had a lovely festive three course meal at this local eatery. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will be back with friends once we are through pandemic restrictions etc.

We were very impressed with our takeaway last week. Both the beef stroganoff and lemon tart were delicious and the portions good. The highlight of our lockdown week. Already looking forward to collecting this Fridays Tagine from Mark.

Just eaten the Takeaway fish pie, it was delicious, plenty of very tasty fish and the sauce was fantastic. Totally recommend this service, we shall look forward to sampling more la-fosse gourmet takeaways.

I was very lucky to win a meal at la fosse and went yesterday with my husband- we were so impressed! The food was delicious, such high quality ingredients cooked to perfection! My highlights were hot & cold coppa with melon to start and the chocolate banofee sundae- both were surprising and so delicious. We will definitely be going again! Thank you mark!
