Daniel and his teams passion for animals shines through with an extensive range of reptiles, tropical and cold water fish, as well as the birds, parrots and small furry section all cared for with the same equal standards. We are open 7 days a week including bank holidays, located in Kirkby In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire between Mansfield and Nottingham and just 5 minutes from Jnc 27 / 28 M1.

Absolutely fantastic place the staff from entering the shop where absolutely fantastic , asked for advise for my Mrs about a parrot or a hand tame bird etc there was no rush and even took time to get the birds out and actually see what my Mrs took too , she's absolutely in love with the hand tame cockatiel and the lady and gentleman that helped us I can't actually thank enough , both of them I'd have working in our shop , customer service at its best , thanks guys will see you soon

Great shop overall, with what appeared to be knowledgable and friendly staff.
One of the only pet shops stocking snake food in my immediate area at the minute.
Although we left happy. The shop was far too overcrowded, with little or no assistance, as nobody knew who was serving who.
To be fair to them, it was a lot to do with the customers, not listening.
It will be a regular visit from us now.

Came in today to purchase some dog treats and was completely ignored by all the staff in the store. Got to the checkout and the person behind it just walked away and left me standing there. A gentleman then came up and never even spoke the whole time and came across as very rude. The one time he did speak was when he mentioned that you cannot use card payments if less than £5 purchase which is unbelievable these days and not something I've heard of for years. With that the whole experience in the shop was just uncomfortable. Such a shame being on the doorstep but won't be visiting again after

I bought an axolotl and the whole set up. James was really helpful. He obviously knows what he’s talking about and can answer any question. All the staff are friendly and the shop itself is amazing. I could spend hours in there just mooching around and looking at all the animals they have. I didn’t know much about axolotls and I even ended up phoning the shop to ask questions about my tank set up and they were so helpful. I’d recommend this shop. They look after their animals and make sure you have everything you need. Thanks guys. Merry Christmas

I came in today to see the tropical fish and was absolutely disgusted by the conditions of the tanks 🤬 dead fish in the tanks other fish snacking on the dead fishes I was absolutely shocked I wouldn’t give it 1 star but obviously have too 🤬🤬
I don’t think they getting looked after very well as I seen fish with pop eye and obviously dead fish 🤬

Amazing I'm so happy with my 2 Amazon milk frogs, they are healthy and so lovely I travelled all the way from Barnsley just to come here because of how good the reviews were.
