Stalbridge Pre-school is a well established Pre-School, offering high quality childcare for children approx 2yrs - 5 yrs, we are a committee run, Ofsted Registered Pre-School (EY419797). We moved into a purpose built building set on the Stalbridge Primary School site in Spring 2011 which has further strengthened our links with the Primary School whilst remaining independent.
Stalbridge Pre-School is committed to safeguarding the children in our care. We offer a happy, safe and stimulating environment where children make good progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage, enjoying a wide variety of free play in an enabling environment both indoors and out, we foster an 'in the moment' approach to extend children's learning by following their interests and offering interactions and enhancements to build on what children already know and can do.

Services
We feel that routines for young children help them settle more quickly, feeling safe and secure in the knowledge of what 'happens next'. A member of staff will become your child's Key Person giving your child a 'special' adult in the setting that will foster their well-being and assess their learning.
Stalbridge Pre-School aims to make the Pre-School accessible to all families in the local community. All information regarding admissions will be available in written and spoken form, and where appropriate in different languages, where necessary we will try to provide information in Braille, through an interpreter or signing.
The Pre-School operates during term times only in line with Dorset LEA and Stalbridge Primary School dates. We are usually open when the school is closed for inset days. Fee charges are subject to annual review and possible increase. Children are currently entitled to claim universal Early Education Funding from the term following their 3rd Birthday for up to 15 hrs per wk (or more if eligible) term time only.
