Services
Entering our competitions is a great way to meet people in the club and improve your game. Entering your first competition can be daunting, but one of the great things about golf is it's handicap system, levelling the playing field. Medium and High Handicappers often win our competitions because of this.
Established in 1886 and designed by 3 times Open champion Willie Park Jnr, lnnerleithen golf course is a 9 hole course located in the Scottish Borders, 32 miles south of Edinburgh and 6 miles from Peebles. If you are playing 18 holes, varying tee positions on some of the 'back' 9 holes provides a new set of challenges on your way inward.
Whether you are new to golf, new to the area, looking to move course or seeking an away course, we pride ourselves on being an open, friendly and welcoming club to new members of all abilities. We offer competitive rates, no joining fee, and significant discounts for your first year with us, with an adult golf membership starting at 250 (that is the equivalent of less than 5 per week!).
The second of our three elevated tees and a great view up the valley awaits! If you fade it of the tee then give yourself plenty of room here as any shot not clearing the heather can lead to a double figure score! Big hitters can get up in two, but for the rest of us play it as a par five. Get your second shot over the cross-burn, hit the green, and take it from there.
The B709 road that runs past the course looms large at this hole (keep your eye out for cars and let them past before teeing off). The clubhouse on the right may also catch your eye but stay away as it's out of bounds! A decent drive and a short to mid iron will get you to a large double green. A possible birdie opportunity?

Very friendly team. Nothing stuffy about this small golf club in serving non-members and even non- golfers like our 4-man cycling tour. Flapjack and tea was all I needed to power my ride for next 4 hours. Deserves as much support as possible. Definitely on my list of coffee stops.

Ye the golf clubs OK... But that's not what I gave 5 stars. The golfy itself is in the wooded hills behind the golf club building abd has some of the best and longest mtb trails in the country. Find a map of the trails on the app called trail forks. There are flowy trails there are steep trails and technical trails. But seriously this is one of the best enduro mountain bike locations in the UK or even the world!
