What makes Scotland such a great place to play golf? The answer is totally obvious: the scenery. The landscape of Scotland is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely outdoor sport like golf. Away from the busy towns and cities of England, you can enjoy your golf game in fresh air and peace. Another reason to play golf in Scotland is to play in the game's birthplace.

On Behalf of the comps committee we would like to congratulate everyone who won a prize yesterday and a big thanks to everyone who took part. Big Thanks to Colin Noble the Greenkeeper and his helpers as the course was absolutely brilliant, a lot of praise came from the visitors. A massive thank you goes to our main sponsor JJRB building contractors and also RSB Builders for sponsoring the hole in pot.
My thanks to our greenkeeping staff, Colin and Mark, for their endeavours in this respect. We received numerous positive comments about the course together with promises to make a return visit sooner rather than later. The scoring was good but an unpredictable wind deceived many a golfer on the day.

This a wee hidden gem of a course.
Greens were lovely fairways hardly a mark on them loads of quirky holes with their signature hole the best of all..par 4 with the green about 200 ft below hidden behind trees slight dog leg left.
Only fault was had arranged for food and it was cancelled but other than that great day out.

The course is in very good condition, with several quirky holes, greens quite fast and with the slopes on the greens, so misread and you're punished, turning single puts to three. The views are amazing, however my only issue is the sloping fairways and huge changes in elevation, makes it quite punishing on anyone with joint issues, so probably best to use a buggy.

The course is one of our society's favourites, excellent condition stunning views. There was confusion on arrival, the club was closed and no instructions on obtaining buggy keys, club house was open at lunch time but again closed when we finished our second round, it's accepted we are operating in difficult times but the communication was not very good.

Look this should be a 3* course, but I had a fantastic experience... Did I add it was totally unplanned? On the drive back from Edinburgh I stopped, so happens I had my sticks with me so I thought, give it a go. The hosts were fantastic, had me out in less than no time and I played some of my best golf in Scotland right here.
