The house was lovingly and extensively restored to its former glory ensuring all the original features including 200 year old sash windows, ornate cornices and fireplaces were brought back to life but with a modern aspect creating a boutique hotel in Tavistock Devon.

At Tavistock House Hotel we believe starting the day with a great breakfast is an essential part of your stay, The ingredients we use are top quality and wherever possible locally sourced. Our bacon, free range eggs and award winning sausages come from Howell's Butchers who have been looking after Tavistock for over 50 years.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Tavistock House Hotel recently and it was an absolute pleasure. Bradley was a perfect host, making sure i was comfortable, had all the info I need for the surrounding area, and Bradly was a great conversationalist! The hotel is fantastically exquisite. The care that Bradley put into the renovations is amazing, the artwork is wonderful, the room was more than comfortable and clean, clean clean, and Bradley's commitment to Covid precautions and care shows the type of establishment that he runs, he sets the bar very high for future stays. Fantastic place. Owners were attentive and friendly and made you feel welcome. The B&B is well located for Tavistock town centre. Meticulously clean and tidy. Modern facilities in the room with all you could expect. Breakfast was excellent with quality ingredients and a wide choice. Highly recommend the Tavistock House Hotel.
