Epsom Primary & Nursery School
I am very fortunate to be the Head Teacher, and have been a member of the team here for a number of years. We are a happy, nurturing and highly ambitious community school. Our staff are passionate about ensuring that every child secures a rich, purposeful experience at school which results in maximising their full potential.

We believe in all children being able to benefit from a creative, tailored curriculum which has been carefully designed to enable them to securely embed knowledge and develop new skills. This is built upon year on year, from the tentative curiosity and exploration in Nursery to ambition and confidence in Year 6, in order to approach the next phase in their educational journey with confidence, ambition and happy memories.
Services
The teaching at Epsom Primary and Nursery School begins by building on the many skills you have taught your child at home. We work with children, parents and the community to create an aspirational environment where everyone is encouraged to 'make their own learning journey'. Our high expectations of attendance and behaviour ensures from day one, that our children maximise every learning opportunity and develop positive relationships with others.
At Epsom Primary and Nursery School, our committed and passionate staff work with families and the local community to provide the best opportunities for everyone. At EPS we promote diversity and want a workforce which reflects the population of our community. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Epsom Primary and Nursery School offers high quality, teacher-led, grant-maintained nursery places for children. We have capacity for 52 children in a session and we offer four attendance models that offer children 15 hours a week of free education (universal entitlement). For parents not eligible for funded childcare, we offer a limited number of full-time places where parents can pay for the additional sessions.
The school opens each day at approximately 7:15am by the Site Manager, to allow Breakfast Club attendees to arrive at 7:30am. The school is then locked at 6:15pm, unless special arrangements have been made in advance. Children are able to enter the school from 8:35am. Any child arriving at school later than 8:55am should go via the school office and register as a late arrival.
The Family and Friends of Epsom Primary School are dedicated to raising funds for our wonderful school. Our events unite the school community, are inclusive and great fun. We welcome every parent or carer to be part of our community and we look forward to meeting you soon. Last academic year we raised just over 12,000, can you help us beat that record this year?

Our daughter is doing really well at EPS, new head and staff are focused on turning around the image of the school, public perception is slowly changing, but once you visit the school, you see how outdated that perception is, the school has a new determination, resources and vision to achieve great things and we couldn't be happier with the progress our daughter has made so far... We had it as a "safe" second choice, but if we where to apply again, wouldn't hesitate to place it first. There's a lot of after school clubs for kids with working parents and although it's not in the smartest part of

Epsom Primary School is one of Epsom's best kept secrets.
My child has been here for over 3 years and he has really grown in confidence and his knowledge/education is 2nd to none. The teachers and all the staff, are all very focused and they really seem to enjoy their jobs. The facilities here just keep improving, year on year.
The family atmosphere here shines through, with great summer fairs and after school events, that the children and families alike, enjoy.
I helped out last year on a school trip to London and I was so impressed with the behaviour of the children, outside of school. The
