Oakey Dokeys consists of a team of permanent staff members and a number of helpers who come in on a part-time basis. Your child will be assigned a key person who will be responsible for ensuring that your child is happy and is developing their skills against the EYFS. The key staff always wear something that is the colour of their "group" of children - so that children can easily identify their key person.

The Revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a framework of guidance for every registered early years' setting (including schools) working with children from birth to 5 years. It consists of seven areas of learning and development. All areas are particularly cruicial for igniting children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and for building their capacity to learn, form relationships and thrive.
