Frinton Chapel Preschool aim to advance the education of children below compulsory school age by providing a safe and stimulating environment in which children learn through play. We have a high staff to child ratio during each session, so children benefit from adult attention and support when needed.
Services
At Frinton Chapel Preschool we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, which is centred on four themes - A Unique child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments, Learning and Development. In addition to encompassing the four themes, the EYFS outlines seven areas of learning and development which together make up the skills, knowledge and experiences appropriate for children as they develop, learn and grow.
Statement of Intent - Frinton Chapel Pre-school is committed to the protection of children and will work with children, parents and the community to ensure the safety of children and to give them the very best start in life. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child's experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances.
Our Preschool is committee run and managed by an experienced and qualified team who lead a team of Preschool Practitioners and bank staff. When employing staff we follow a carefully structured recruitment and selection procedure to ensure that All staff must undertake a range of security checks including a three-month probation period, dbs checks, and their qualifications and references are checked closely.
Forest school is an innovative educational approach to outdoor play and learning, first introduced to the UK in the early 90's. Throughout the morning session and over a couple weeks there are a large variety of activities and child led play for the children to explore and engage in. Our forest school mornings always finish with circle time where we share songs and stories, inspired by our time in the woods.
Early Years foundation stage (EYFS) is statutory framework that sets standards for the learning, development and care of children in childcare from birth to 5 years old. It covers 7 areas of learning and development. Children develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives than at any other time.

My daughter went here. Im so glad I picked this preschool. I had never left my daughter with anyone and I was really worried how she would cope and the staff are amazing and she settled with out any problems. she has come on leaps and bounds and now started school and she loves it. I would highly recommend this preschool to anyone. My other daughter is also registered to start next year.
