Great coffee at the lobby. Breakfast was excellent. Staffs were excellent. Hotel is a 3 mins walk to Paddington station ( which would take you to Heathrow airport in 15 mins). If you prefer to take a bus, the bus stop is also just a 3 mins walk to get you to the main shopping district.
The rooms are relatively small but overall it was a comfortable stay. I'll highly recommend for couples to stay in their medium sized rooms. And for family to book at least the large rooms.

It was a bit of an absurd experience. I will do my best to be objective, so i will start with the good parts - good location and a nice bar (lounge).
And the bad parts. 200 pounds a night for 8 sq meters. No wifi, no breakfast, no elevator, absolutely no view from the window - all of those were specified in the offering as included. I could hear every single person on my floor, I promise you any sound people were making in their rooms I could hear it. And then on top of that the heating in my room didn’t work, at some point of the night it become unbearably cold; after few hours of arguing they

Be careful when booking rooms here. The prices are high but the room quality is poor.
We booked a room a week back and they very much gave us a smaller lower quality room at the same price on arrival. When trying to sort this with the staff they simply couldn't communicate well with different staff providing us completely different answers and at one point blaming us for using booking.com.
There was not a competent manager on site to communicate with.
And after all that they charged us extra for our "included" breakfast.

I stayed at The Pilgrm for 3 nights. The location is amazing, the hotel is mere yards from Paddington station, which has both mainline trains and a number of underground lines. The reception staff are very warm and friendly. The interior design is beautiful, lots of innovative/thoughtful touches, such as mini libraries and pantries dotted throughout the hotel. However, my room was unbearably hot, a fan had been left in the room, presumably for this reason. I had to have the fan on full any time I was in the room, including when I slept, not a problem if you can sleep with noise, but a big problem

Booked to stay here at short notice, a flying visit to London before my Danish partner flew back to Copenhagen from Heathrow after being in the UK for a few weeks.
we booked a medium room, that was all that was available at short notice, the room was beautiful and comfortable although a little ‘snug’ with all the luggage, if a large room is available next time ( we will stay here again) I’d snap that up.
Thoroughly enjoyed staying here, location, decor, amazingly helpful staff, good value , quirky building … just fabulous !!
Thanks Pilgrim staff …. You are doing a fabulous job ! Each
