Services
The Melita is situated in two historical buildings built around 1825. The hotel has been owned and managed by members of the same family since 1972. It lies in a quiet street moments from all the hustle and bustle of Victoria Station in a mainly residential quarter called Pimlico. All the houses in the area were designed and built by Thomas Cubitt, (1788 - 1855), an architect of some notoriety in his time.
The Melita has two main room categories Classic and Superior rooms, but each room has it's own character with unique artwork. Coupled with the hotel's friendly service and modern technology, staying at The Melita is sure to be a wonderful experience, whatever the occasion. Both Classic and Superior rooms range in size from cosy single rooms perfect for business travellers, to airy rooms for families of four.
When you book your room you will be given the choice to order our Breakfast Package at least 24 hours in advance. A selection of teas and the finest Illy coffees are also available to order from reception on the morning your breakfast, including your favourites: Latte/Cappuccino/Americano/Espresso etc.

I love this area and particularly Melita which is a lovely place to stay. I appreciated all of the effort that the staff made to keep it so clean and the place has a warm and friendly feeling about it. It reminds me of a Victorian house with all of the British townhouse features. The nice touches like having all of the latest magazines like House & Garden available was unexpected, and it was great to hear the manager's recommendations about the local pubs. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

The staff at The Melita were so friendly and helpful, without their local knowledge and recommendations we would have been so lost! The hotel it’s self is so clean and quite it made for a fun, relaxing stay. The staff is really what makes this place so wonderful, both gentlemen went above and beyond to help us out, thank you to all! The location of the hotel is handy also, with busses and underground’s a few minutes walk away.

Worst hotel ever , this place won't give you a refund nor credit for a future stay had to cancel because my flight was cancel because of the COVID19 . They don't care about people health they are more focus in making money . I explain to them many times I didn't want to cancel my booking but no flights where leaving USA to Europe and they said , London is not in lockdown but I told them my flight got cancel. All I wanted was credit for my trip that I am postponing until September and they said no. All other hotels is giving me refunds or credit except this one . STAY AWAY

We wanted a hotel near Victoria Coach Station but didn't want to pay an arm and leg! We were allocated a basement room which was clean but quite small - but it is London and we were on a budget! For the money and location I would score it 5 star, however, for size of room it drops. That said, I would book it again if I needed a hotel in that area and was on a budget.

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, just a little bit on the small side. But other then that cool looking building, great area of town, and your in walking distance from most major attractions. Also you are near Victoria station; which is a major station that can take you direct to many of the museum's (2 stops), Oxford Street (3 stops, major shopping), and st. Pancreas station for the trains leaving the city (5 stops).

After some careful consideration I consider the melita house to be a somewhat nice place to say. Everybody was pretty friendly and they took care of my needs quite promptly. I think that if I had to do it all over again I would stay there because their prices are good there proximity to the tube are very good

Great location, but if there are rooms available in the Luna Simone across the street, take those instead.
Melita needs some updating, things just slightly dingy.
The breakfast was awful (reconstituted eggs?) and they charge for every substitution. We ended up just having coffee and a croissant every morning at the local Pret A Manger.
