Welcome to Smilers Nursery, a place where every child matters. Childcare that is second to none, is delivered for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Smilers Nursery has successfully been the stepping stone for children beginning their educational journey in life. We work together to ensure our children are happy and achieving their personal best before they move on to their next step in education.
Smilers Group acquired Mini Explorers as a going concern in 2019. Since then we have made improvements to the nursery and are working with the same management team to ensure we cause minimum disruption to our mini explorers. At Mini Explorers, it is our mission to enable young children to develop in a learning and caring environment.
Our aim is to provide a balanced, nutritious and varied menu, which is appealing and appetising to all of the children in our care. Lunch - freshly prepared 'home cooked' meal consisting of a main course and pudding, using ingredients from our local supermarket. Mid-morning and afternoon snacks - fruit or vegetable sticks, plain biscuits, bread sticks.
Please inform the Nursery Manager and key worker if your child suffers from a severe allergy. Our staff will carry out a risk assessment during the settling in visits. A care plan and emergency procedures will be agreed with you, based on the information provided to us. If required, we will work with health visitors and other medical professionals to ensure we are able to meet your child's needs.
