Roof Top Nursery

All of our meals are prepared in house by our fully qualified cook. Meal times at our nursery are a lovely social occasion, taking opportunities to develop children's social skills, manners and conversation skills. Throughout the day we offer breakfast, lunch and tea, alongside nutritious snacks for the children in our care.

At Roof Top Nursery we firmly believe that every child has the right to reach their fullest potential in a safe and nurturing atmosphere. Through valuing each child as an individual and understanding their needs, we promote positive attributes such as self-esteem, confidence and independence.

Our caring practitioners are dedicated to continuous professional development which enables them to be at the forefront of changes in the early year's curriculum, and to provide a stimulating learning experience tailor made to the developmental needs of each and every child.We would expect visitors to our nursery to see children and staff who are happy, respectful and learning together in a warm, caring and stimulating environment.

At present we have 18 qualified members of staff working at Roof Top Nursery. All staff hold relevant qualifications in order to provide a high quality care and education for young children. Four of these staff hold a degree level and one of these staff is a qualified Early Years Teacher. At Roof Top Nursery, we believe in giving the best service to our parents, staff and children.

For most children their first day at nursery may be their first experience of a group setting. We expect all parents/carers to stay for the first few sessions to familiarise their child with the staff members and the nursery environment. You will be introduced to your child's keyperson who will support your child's transition from home to nursery.
