The indoor area provides a homely environment to allow the children to express themselves through a variety of activities, as well as stimulating toys to encourage children to have a go, explore and get involved. Outdoor play allows the children to explore our environment. Activities outside can be messier and on a larger scale allowing the children to develop throughout all areas of the EYFS.
Art and craft activities allow the children to be imaginative and investigate using all their senses as well as being creative, most of all it allows the children to have fun whilst learning.

Services
Docklands Day Nursery Limited is a start-up, mid-sized child-care business. We offer all-day care for under-fives whilst their parents are engaged with other responsibilities. Docklands Day Nursery caters for full or part time care according to the parents' needs, and provides play and educational opportunities as well as basic care of the child.
We encourage the physical development of the children through the provision of opportunities that enables them to improve their skills of co-ordination, control, manipulation and movement. We support them in using all of their senses to learn about the world around them and to make connections between new information and what they already know.

Our daughter started Nursery in September and we are really happy with the Nursery. The staff have been very attentive to us, always communicating to us how she is doing and have the time to speak to us about how she is getting on. She really enjoys nursery and we love hearing about all of the fun activities that she gets up to when she is there. We have and will continue to recommend Docklands to friends of ours.

This nursery is the best!!!
My son has been going there since Aug 2019 and has loved it since day 1 (as parents we love this place too - drop offs are so easy). My son’s carers are incredible - in fact, the whole team there are amazing - all very caring, loving and encouraging (!!). The nursery offers lots of creative fun tasks for the kids daily, including planting and sport days.
I can’t recommend this place enough! Happy kids = Happy parents 😀

Very happy with the nursery and staff!Staff is very friendly, warm and caring. I was a bit anxious about my son starting the nursery, especially after all the social distancing my son got quite shy around the people, but everyone there made the settling in as smooth as possible. Also, the communication is good. Lots of creative activities for children. Love the outdoors area! A big thank you to the staff!

Our 3 year old son has been attending docklands since September 2019. He had been getting on really well there but I wanted to share our experience of him returning after the pandemic closures.
Our son was very anxious to leave us on the first day and was suffering a lot of separation anxiety. The team had been in contact with us through email and zoom calls throughout the last few months. They have communicated clearly the safety measures they are taking and I feel confident that he has returned to a safe environment. Yet they have kept the nurturing ethos that he thrived in.

The nursery had just been through a change of management when our daughter joined in Nov 2018. Since then it’s been a delight to deal with. She loves attending and is always really happy every day. They take the time and care we think necessary with all parent feedback and looking after all the developmental areas for the children. Couldn’t be happier with our choice!

I am very happy with the nursery. I have seen a lot of development in my son since he joined the nursery. Apart from the fact that the staff takes good care of my son, they have been very open about listening to any concerns and special requests related to things that need to be incorporated in the daily routine of the child. There are periodic reviews and events involving parents. Overall, excellent!

Our son has been attending Docklands Day Nursery for just over 18 months and has grown and developed tremendously. He has had tailored learning to suit his interests, as well as cognitive development.
The attentive staff and good resources have really boosted his communication, interaction and comprehension and he has made countless friends whom he talks about all the time!
The family atmosphere at the nursery really encourages a great environment for learning and I am so pleased with the strong foundations our son has acquired during his time here.
