Valley Caravan Park
Valley Caravan Park was established in 1945 by William A Taylor and has continued to be run by the same Cornish family throughout the years. The park boasts a wonderful location in Polzeath, home to one of Cornwall's premier surfing beaches. The Park is situated in a valley leading down to the sea, with the entrance only 200 yards from Polzeath's sandy beach.

We have tried to keep the park as natural as possible, encouraging wildlife - especially mallard ducks, geese, squirrels, rabbits and moorhens. Due to the wildlife, we regret that DOGS are not permitted on the site (except guide dogs).
Services
From Exeter take the A30 into Cornwall. Continue to 'Kennards House' junction where you take the A395 towards Camelford and North Cornwall. Continue through Camelford towards wadbridge, but before descending into the town, turn right at the mini roundabout onto B3314. Follow signs for Polzeath, (7 miles).
Here at The Valley, we try to provide, where possible, easily accessible options across all our accommodation. The majority of our park is flat (somewhat of a novelty in Polzeath!) so walking around the park and to the beach is less strenuous. The park is quite long however, so if walking long distances isn't possible, there is accommodation situated closer to the entrance (and the beach) subject to availability.
You may have noticed that our park is surrounded by glorious Cornish Countryside as well as the glorious coastline. We're at the exact point where the fresh and salt water mix and the land meets the sea. This means we are lucky enough to also host some amazing wildlife across the varied terrain of the park, be they attracted to the beach, cliffs, river, marshland, woodland or pasture.
The six duplex apartments are situated at the entrance of the park above the ground floor of the main amenities building. Each apartment has two bathrooms, with 2, 3, and 4 bedroom options available and full central heating across two floors. There is a separate car park and surf shower to serve the apartments, a nearby play area which also has a communal BBQ hut, and a coin operated launderette situated on the ground floor of the amenity block.
Caravan prices are determined by the age of the caravan, with the newer models being at the top end of our price range. We try and make sure that we have a choice of different price bands within different locations across the park, so that you're more likely to find something that's specifically suited to you and your family!

Superb campsite with great facilities and very friendly staff in the bar. It's also been lovely getting to know the campsite owner Mr Taylor whilst attending services at the Tubestation!

Lovely holiday park, well priced, some of the caravans need updating and are a little tired. The newer ones are very good, the whole of the park is well looked after. There is a little club where you can play pool a few machine's as well, you can have a bite to eat and have a drink. The park is close to the sea and if you like body boarding and a bit of surfing this is a good place. You can higher boards and wet suits also you can have lessons a little pricey but if in a group it's cheaper. We will book again a very enjoyable holiday was had.

Just got back from a fabulous week staying at Valley Caravan Park. The caravan we stayed in was great, well equipped and clean. It was out of the school holidays so the site was lovely and peaceful. We… definitely want to come back, we loved Polzeath it’s a lovely little town with some nice places to eat all within walking distance. Thank you to all the staff at Valley Caravan Park, can’t wait to come back,

Excellent caravan /camping park.
Fully open again at time of our visit. 21st July, 1 week.
Flat level pitches, at least 50% with electric hook up. Suitable for those with movement difficulties.
Clubhouse serving decent food and good beer at reasonable prices.
Short walk to beach.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic beach great for surfing. RNLI safety Life guards are on duty from the beach and cliff so it's very safe for the kids, however the beach can get very busy.

Our caravan was a new model and in perfect condition. The van was well-stocked with equipment and utensils and I like the idea of bringing own pillows and duvets. The park is right by the beach yet very peaceful with natural wildlife in abundance.
We stayed a week so didn't have time to make use of all the facilities such as launderette and onsite bar so can't comment other than a two-week stay would have been better.
Lots of restaurants and activities in the area and the beach is lovely so everything gets five stars and a highly recommended. Well done Valley Park.

Perfect place to spend a week with family bodyboarding. We found the site quiet, clean, and with staff who were so helpful and friendly, and an assortment of wildlife (where did the turkeys come from) parading around to entertain. Pasties from the Spar shop were amazing, lifeguards vigilant, surf amazing. What more could you ask for - maybe a chopping board in the caravan kitchen!
