This is our 6th year at this site , we come with the Alvis Car club. Its a lovely rally run by nice people. we love it here.
Nice little onsite shop , I am disabled & loved it in the pool.
Last year with Covid the pool was shut obviously , this year the pool is still shut that is a disappointment for people like myself. Really miss not having the pool open as it helps with my joints being able to have a daily swim...

Sadly I think Covid has taken its toll on the facilities here. Closed fish & chip shop, closed snack shack & bar area etc. The actual site is clean & tidy although I think a lot of the caravans are owned so the residents are responsible for upkeep of lawns etc so down to them rather than the staff. The one we stayed in is owned by my uncle so can't comment on staff cleaning accommodation & didn't need to use the shower block so not sure how well maintained that was. Great location for the lovely beaches & walks along the coast path.

Good location, tired inaduequate facilties.
We stayed for a week camping in a tent with two children. The location is superb being within a short walk of the beach and the children enjoyed the playpark and evening entertainment, however that is where the good stuff ends. The park is very rundown, I've been to lots of campsites and this one is not in the top half. The toilets and showers are all in the main building, there was around ten cubicles in the mens toilets but around half of them seem to be permanently locked meaning a wait at times to use the toilet, (with the seat still warm)! It's

I somehow managed to lock my keys in my car as we were packed up ready to leave. I went to reception and Ben phoned the RAC for me, lent me some cash and let me have a sweatshirt on tic for my 3 year old granddaughter, who was cold from the wind. Ben couldn't have been more helpful. Fabulous place, in walking distance of 3 glorious beaches, with something for everyone. Highly recommended 💕

The position of the site is excellent for beaches and a area to watch the sunset into the sea just up the road. Good stactic caravan facing the bay. Even better having wifi.
The site is abit run down, Pool was closed due to covid??? And had to bring my own bed linin due to covid.
The onsite shop has the basics, but could do with a onsite oven to bake fresh bread and pastrys. As Fresh bread not delivered till 9:45am,when the shop opens at 8am.
The reception staff are excellent.
The children play area is undergoing a upgrade while I was there.
Over all looking past the covid issues the site

Great location, but facilities are a let down. Toilets were always dirty, showers not very good (and it's 20p for 3 mins although some timed out at under 2 mins), food on site was very poor, swimming pool not open (looks very run down) and I'll be surprised if it opens any time soon and overall the site is just a little run down and tired. Shame as it could be a 5 star site, but needs some investment, but most of all needs better overall management of the site. 2 stars have been given as the pitches are decent and the site has direct access to the beach.
