Accessed by a small private road, Trethias is just a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, Treyarnon Bay, which is a dog friendly beach even during summer, and also lifeguard patrolled. Within the park, we provide a special dog walking field with fantastic sea views, although they must be on a lead within the park itself.
We use local builders, cleaners, gardeners, engineers, bespoke manufacturing companies, and suppliers. We are an award winning conservation park, with wildlife havens and bird protection areas surrounding the camping fields.

We visited Trethias Farm in the first week of June and have been meaning to post this since! David the owner keeps a close eye on things and as a result the site is very clean and rubbish well organised. The fields are mainly level, closely cut well kept grass and all are very close to some stunning cliff walks, with Corn Buntings visible from the caravan in an adjacent field. We had distant views along the coast to the West, and we were given flexibility during our stay to move pitches if we had wanted to. On arrival it was a challenge to negotiate the local lanes and tractors but prior instructions

Phoned ahead to book a pitch and was told to camp in the gull field and to pay at reception in the morning!
However I was rudely accosted by the owner, patrolling on his tractor, I was made to feel unwelcome and accused of lying about booking! He also ignored my girlfriends morning salutation!!!!!!!!
If you don’t like tourists? Don’t open a campsite! Won’t be coming back ever! Unless I receive an apology in full with maybe a life times supply of chocolate and camping (but not on your site)

Just had a lovely week with our family here. Quiet and well run site in a great location for both access to the beach and coastal walks. Plenty of space in the middle of the fields for kids to play games etc.
Facilities were always clean and COVID safe.
Bring plenty of bags for recycling and check what you can recycle in this area, as may vary from where you live, as they take it seriously here, which is great for the environment.
Very dog friendly with a lovely enclosed dog area.

Trethias is our favourite campsite. We have been coming for five years. The campsite is faultless, but what we particularly like is its location near to very beautiful beaches, the fact the pitches are well spaced out, the cleanliness of the amenities and how helpful the owners are! A very special place.

View is nice and site is clean and the short beach walk is great, but in Cornwall clean costal sites are not hard to come by, been camping for years and if you have a young family, you might struggle with the lacking facilities, not set up for teeth brushing and getting ready, even without covid rules in place. Site probably best for quite couples.
Site is not that easy to find and can be a struggle with a caravan so please plan your route, lots of blind bends around the lanes.
Would love to give more stars but unfortunately
owner is very policing on tractor and watches you, what shower block

Just had an amazing week at the beautiful Trethias Farm. It is has the most fantastic views & is so peaceful, it’s beyond belief. It is very professional, extremely organised with procedures in place to keep everyone as Covid safe, as possible. It has a very friendly, relaxed, atmosphere & the park is looked after so well & clean, with positive environment & recycling procedures. Wish we could have stayed longer, can’t wait to go back again.

Loved staying here and can't wait to come again. This is the kind of campsite we love - big field with flat pitches, good clean facilities, friendly helpful owners, fantastic views of the sea (and the most amazing sunsets), and a beach within 5 mins walk. All of the ingredients you need to make a perfect weekend away.

This is a large site and nothing seems close to hand. It has a slightly 1970s feel. The showers and toilets were a reasonable walk from our pitch and the bins are actually outside of the site. The reception on 4G was not great and the site WIFI failed to connect. Maybe if the sun had shined we would have seen this in a better light but we really did like the place and left a night early.

The stars are for the location and the cleanliness.
The coast path is right in front of you, incredible views from your pitch. Loos were plentiful and spotlessly clean. We met some lovely people on the campsite, the people in the mobile homes however were less than friendly.
The site has some eco credentials, not sure what for, there are absolutely no bins/collection areas on site, meaning you have to take everything with you when you leave. There is an area just outside the entrance where you sort all your waste yourself....I have no problem with sorting my rubbish just not sure why the site

Have had many holidays here and hopefully will be returning for many more. Short direct walk to one of the best beaches in the area (which also has a well stocked shop for provisions). Spacious, generous pitches, clean facilities and David keeps the grass cut short. A very relaxed atmosphere and we love it. Also easy access to the coast road. A great hols thanks.
