Rinkoff Bakery
Rinkoff bakery is a family run business working with both wholesale and retail customers. The bakery was established in 1911 by Hyman Rinkoff, who came to London from Kiev with a passion for baking and a determination to establish himself here as a master baker. We have now been producing speciality bread, cakes and rolls for over 100 years!

This includes traditional Challah breads, Sourdoughs, cheesecakes, muffins, croissants, exceptional Danish pastries and now our famous Crodoughs. This store is attached to our bakery. The smell of freshly baked goods will give the location away! Here we serve freshly made sandwiches, bread cakes and rolls, as well as our delicious Crodoughs.

Love this traditional family-run bakery! There are so many crodoughs to choose from you'll be spoiled for choice. And don't forget about the famous rainbow bagels either!

I love this bakery and go often. But their staff really need to work on their hygiene. The staff who served me today took the money from a customer and then proceeded to touch my bread with the same gloves. Another lady was touching everything with her bare hands. I was so disappointed and disgusted. Especially now when covid is spreading so fast these things should be taken more seriously and this is just basic hygiene.

Stumbled upon this bakery while on a casual walk around the neighbourhood and decided to try them. Didn't realised that Ive stumbled upon a jewel of east london! First I tried the Cronut and brought home a loft of sourdough bread and fell in love ever since. And now its my weekly thing to get my bread supply from here so i can cheat my diet with their pastries…

What a wonderful find; an old Jewish bakery, selling wonderful sandwiches, bagels, cakes, cronuts, challah etc. it’s hidden away in a totally inconspicuous footpath. Well worth the trip to visit.

I've been visiting this wonderful place for almost 5 years and even though I don't live any longer in this area, I still come to buy my favorite bagel (the one with salmon and cream). Challah is also tasty. Toda raba!

My all time favourite bakery! Have been coming here ever since I moved to London. Great pastries, breads and cakes. The mini Danish pastries are out of this world. So unusual for London to see a working bakery in action too.
Did not realise the historical importance it has to the area, over 100 years family-owned is impressive. If you're lucky you'll get to speak to one of the Rinkoffs in the shop who will happily tell you all about it as your order is being prepared.
Love coming back to this part of London knowing I can pay Rinkoffs a visit.

Blew my American friends’ minds with the tasty Pecan and Pumpkin pie. The right amount of sweetness, not overbearing. They were also so kind to send them to me all the way to West London. Highly recommend Rinkoff Bakery.

The croidough have an amazing texture, I am very pleasantly surprised. Also pleased that some aren't too sweet despite having some tasty filling. Tough balance to find. I had an Americano coffee that was good. I also got a loaf of sourdough bread with excellent texture. All this didn't break the bank, going to rinkoff was a very pleasant experience, will do again.

Good bakery selling both bread, pastries and cronuts.
Their croissants didn't look the best I had seen but the cronuts looked really good and the one that I had was great.

I had some crodoughs delivered to my brother for his birthday, which was more difficult than you could imagine as I live in the States. Luckily I found Rinkoff Bakeries online and decided to give them a try. Ray and Debs were very communicative and helpful and my brother said the crodoughs were amazing and were so delectable looking. Thanks for all your help, I hope to get a chance to try next time I'm in town!

Overpriced and bad quality. They rely on the name only to get customers who are mainly tourists and have no idea what a good coffee or bakery is in London.

It only looked good but the taste was meh. Over priced cronuts... it was too stale and had no taste. The oreo topping didnt balance the whole cronut. Getting to the middle it was definitely last week's batch of cronuts. :(
brownies were more worth it than the cronuts.

The pistachio with salted caramel crodough wasn't my cup of tea. It's quite crispy on the outside, but the doughy inside was too dense for my liking. They were also a tad heavy-handed with the caramel sauce. Overall, it felt more like a filling meal than a light afternoon snack.

For years I'd been meaning to come here. I love bakeries (duh, I'm human) and while even unhealthy me can't justify a cronut more than once or twice a year, I have managed to try a few from London and I haven't been all that impressed (Cocomaya do some good ones, though).

So I decided to finally make the trip - it's just one bus from work, but it's a long ride. Luckily I was outfitted with my newly downloaded Pokemon Go, which is very easily played from a slow-moving bus, so the journey wasn't too bad.

A bit tricky to find but I didn't get lost. I must

Many people have heard of the legendary tale of the cronut across the pond but why travel that far when you can hop a short tube ride to East London to have the might crodough!
Rinkoffs first came to my attention via work colleagues and once I tried their crodoughs I was hooked!

They are located through a alley off the main road and this little gem is amazing! Their crodoughs are rich of texture, flavour and bite. My favourite is the classic raspberry but I have tried the Oreo, chocolate, Nutella and various other flavours. My tip is to find a few friends and cut them in pieces to be able to

Shiny gem hidden between Whitechapel and the Queen Mary. Definitely one of the best bakery I ever tried outside Italy. First, it was impressive the choice of pastries and the quality of the raw materials. I had a cappuccino together with some very good pastries with pistacchio and caramel.
Definitely a must if you are around!

The crodoughs are AMAZING! Bagels are such a steal and are simple, but worth the price. I would recommend the apple pie or caramel pistachio crodough.

Rinkoff is a little gem tucked in among council housing! It is a bit off the beaten path and I would have never known it was here without literally being directed to it by my London Walks book! It has an interesting history and has been around for a LONG time.

I have a few complaints about Rinkoff. First off, their customer service is a bit weird. They took our order and then my father-in-law left me to pay and get some treats. They ignored me for about twenty minutes while waiting on other customers even though they knew that I was waiting. There were two people working and they didn't seem

I can't believe I didn't review this place until now, it's one of them places that you absolutely MUST visit in London! It's a cute little bakery tucked away off the main road and it does phenomenal pastries. They are known for the cronut - which for those that don't know it, it's a fusion between a croissant and donut! They do lots of flavours - raspberry, custard, oreo and I'm told soon to be cream egg too! They sell out fast on a weekend, is schedule your visit early!

Recently, they started selling rainbow bagels, which are colourful, weird and wonderful

Getting my Cronut or - NOT!!! :( :( :(

So finally made it to Rinkoffs on the last day of my London visit, and really wished had come earlier. Purchased challa bread, olive bread, wholemeal sourdough bread, a cheesecake, unlocked the free Danish offer (yay! Thanks Yelp) and based on the server's recommendation - took the raisin Danish and it was awesomely delicious- wish had ordered more! The cheesecake too tasted fab, with a great fresh creamy taste and just the right note of sweetness.

I had also ordered a pistachio and salted caramel Cronut (based on other Yelp recommendations but they

This was the first time I had ever experienced a cronut, and it was awesome. This little bakery is a little bit hidden and in an area you wouldn't expect but it doesn't disappoint! We had the peanut butter and jelly cronut and an Oreo one too, they were great.

When looking for somewhere to try Cronuts in London, all the research pointed to Rinkoff's so the foodiest of my friends and I headed to the East London ghetto of Whitechapel to hunt it down.

When you follow the Google maps instructions you are sure you're going in the wrong direction. "The best Cronuts in London can't possibly be down this shady looking alleyway", but trust me, it's worth the adventure.

The bakery has been there for over 100 years and has developed a bit of a cult following. It is an honest, family bakery with a real homely feel. It feels pretty

What a lovely little bakery! Its been around a long long time which is a testament to how good it is.

Of course, being the silly London foodie I am, I came for the cronuts - or crodoughs as they call them (cronut is actually a trademarked name now so you'll only see them called that at Dominique Ansel Bakery!). I've come at the end of the day a couple times and there's always been a good selection left, so don't you worry your pretty faces about waking up at an ungodly hour in the morning to pick up one of these babies, unless you're really into it being fresh out of
