At Lanes Counselling we are here to help you live a happy and positive life. Anxiety, or extreme apprehension and worry, is a normal reaction to stressful situations.

In some cases, however, worry becomes excessive or chronic and can cause sufferers to dread everyday situations. Depression is an illness that increasingly afflicts people worldwide, interfering with concentration, motivation, and many other aspects of everyday functioning. From hoarding to handwashing to forever checking the stove, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) takes many forms.

Lanes Counselling was established by Caroline Lane in 2013 in Arundel town centre. In 2019, the practice moved to larger premises in idyllic, peaceful, woodland setting just off the Ford roundabout in Arundel. Ample parking is available. Lanes Counselling has 5 therapy rooms that are themed around nature creating a tranquil atmosphere which is reflected through the setting and art within the practice.
I'm Caroline Lane (MBACP), owner of Lanes Counselling. My practice is based in Arundel, West Sussex which has a team of highly qualified and experienced counsellors with expertise in a number of fields. All of our counsellors are registered with BACP working to their code of ethics ensuring the best possible service.
Lanes Counselling has a team of professional, warm and highly experienced counsellors. We provide a wide range of counselling for children and young people, families and adults. Our team of counsellors have a lot of experience of working with cultural and sexual diversity, disability, and individuals from different socioeconomic backgrounds.
Level 1 - Introduction: to the use of creative arts therapies in Counselling (10am-1pm) 3 hours CPD. Level 2 - Intermediate: developing the use of creative arts therapies in your practice as part of your tool kit (10am - 4pm) 6 hours CPD. Bring your own lunch. Level 3 - Advanced: Creative arts therapy with groups and individuals (10am - 4pm) 6hours CPD, Bring your own lunch.
Anxiety is the human body's natural reaction to stress. It's the fear, worry or apprehension of things to come. Anxiety exists for a reason, and it can be a useful tool to navigate difficult situations. But when anxiety gets out of control, it can become our biggest obstacle. Issues with anxiety are very common, and they can range from minor to severe.
