Wonderful, warm, welcoming, friendly and fantastic food, this gorgeous little hotel has it all. You are greeted with a lovely, warm and cheery welcome, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are professional but more importantly, friendly and approachable but the cherry on the cake is the food, the evening meals are top restaurant quality but whatever you do try the tasting menu, it is sublime, the most wonderful flavours and textures combine to give you a fantastic taste experience! Can't wait to return.

We went to the Sunday lunch there and it was fantastic and we enjoyed the meal the place and the atmosphere. The staff so good helpful and make you feel comfortable. When the food came all the roasts were so good and tasty with the vegetables the wine 🍷. The afters were good match. After the lunch we explored the hotel including the gardens and the the village which is amazing place to see and the fantastic people that live there and decided to book in the hotel when we come to the area to stay next time

My favourite place. Its comfortable and luxurious. All the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and I'm slowly working my way to staying in each one. Plenty of seating downstairs so you can always find somewhere to relax. Nice well kept grounds too, with more seating if it's nice out. Good local pub for a few pints if you want a change of scene and great base for walking. Good choice of breakfast and it's delicious.

Excellent hotel and have stayed several times, however felt slightly let down this time as room on this occasion was quite noisy with a door banging somewhere constantly into the night and a rather loud motor intermittently running throughout the night. A new soft close mechanism on the offending door would go a long way to helping with this. Beautiful room, comfortable bed and excellent food although no sandwiches or snacks available for hungry travellers after 18:00 when restaurant was full which was also something of a let down

Wonderful beds. great location, service and food are fabulous. a divine place to while away a weekend- lots of stunning walks in the area to work up an appetite (or burn off the huge breakfast)
