Call
We have a good range of appointments that are bookable in advance and same day appointments. If you wish a same day appointment, we ask that you phone 01389 811844 between 8.30am and 10.00am. Please note our phones do get extremely busy. We would therefore encourage all patients to sign up to the online booking system, this will prevent delays on the phones and will allow you to book any available appointments.

Ask at reception for your unique pin number. There's a range of additional services available at Dumbarton Health Centre including Antenatal Clinics, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Xray.
Services
At Levenside we have 7 doctors, 3 nurses, 3 health care assistants and 12 admin staff. We also have district nursing and health visiting teams attached to our practice, as well as access to the Health Centre treatment room nurses. We are also a training practice which means we help qualified doctors train to become GPs.
We have 7 GP Partner's in our practice Dr Saied Pourghazi (GP Lead), Dr Fergus MacLean, Dr Chris Tervit, Dr Fiona Maxwell, Dr Katie Mitchell, Dr Parvinder Dhillon & Dr Fiona Gregor. I qualified from Glasgow University in 1992. I spent the first 8 years of my career working in hospitals in different specialities in and around Glasgow.
We try to offer a mix of appointments that are bookable in advance and those that are available to be booked that day. We ask that you phone 01389 811844 between 8.30am and 10.00am for appointments that day. We will endeavour to give anyone phoning us either an appointment or a time to speak to a doctor or nurse over the telephone.
Keeping track of your medication supplies and ordering your medication in a timely manner ensures a smooth ordering process for us, your pharmacy and most importantly, you. Please order your medication no later than two working days before it is required. This will allow us appropriate time to process your request.
If you are housebound, or severely ill and infirm and clearly unable to make the journey to the surgery, you can request to be visited at home. If possible we ask that you make such a request before 10.00am. The receptionist will ask for details of your illness so that your request can be assessed and appropriate and timely action taken.

Report
Shocking wait for calls to be answered GPS still not seeing patients face to face without telephone consultation first one member of reception staff requires a communication training course. Since levenside bought another practice it has become far to big for the number of Dr's available. The pandemic is being used to introduce a service and it certainly isn't for the patients benefit big business with little care sad times for NHS patients
