Our lettings team deal with in excess of 800 properties throughout the West of Scotland. With over 50 years experience in the property industry, we have an excellent reputation and manage every investment as if it were our own. Yet we have evolved into a modern organisation applying modern business practices.
Our team are experts in managing many repairs from a leak in your kitchen sink to full refurbishments. We have a full time maintenance team who attend to various repairs and with over 50 years in the industry are able to attend to almost any situation. If you have an emergency repair please email us on [email protected] and we will do our best to respond within the hour.
Our office is open Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm. We take a short break for lunch between 1pm - 2pm and our phones turn off at 4:30pm to allow our team to catch up on paperwork. We adhere to strict rules set out for letting agents and do not charge any administration fees to tenants at the outset of their tenancy.

Critical: Responsiveness
I have been trying to contact Edzell for over a week now in regards to a property they listed for rent. I am in a unhappy living situation and need to move ASAP but I cannot contact them to book a viewing. I've tried calling and emailing with no response. I am extremely disappointed with the conduct of this agency.

I paid the deposit. I needed a flat in a short time. After paying the deposit I could not contact the agency. I noticed that you can only call on Monday or Tuesday for other days you can't take any contact. After a week, I finally contacted to hear that I did not get a flat. I lost time and many problems arose. I have been waiting 2.5 weeks for the return of my deposit. They don't even answer my phone anymore.

Turned up for a flat viewing. No one on their side turned up. I've also noticed on other ads from Edzell that they're using the same photos. Seen the photos for their Albert Road flat on about 3 other adverts. Then today I saw the Albert Road property back online, but now it's different pictures. Dodgy company and complete time wasters.

A while ago a close friend of mine went to sign a lease with Edzell. She had her 10 year old son with her. During the signing, the manager of Edzell stated to her (only half jokingly) that if she was late with the rent "we'll break your legs". If you want to rent from someone who'd say that to a women with a young child, be my guest. Aside from that, from what I heard, there was also the typical nonsense of repairs and getting Edzell to address any problems.

I once rented a flat from Edzell on Ferry Road, and more recently I've rented flats elsewhere in the west end with their tenants adjacent. In both cases where I lived, Edzell installed tenants who engaged in flagrant and persistant anti social behaviour - often to the extent that police had to be called out in the early hours of the morning. My written and verbal complaints to Edzell were completely ignored. Edzell let their properties out, rake in the cash, and take absolutely no responsibility for their tenants' behaviour. I don't know why there are bad reviews online about this company. We have had nothing but perfect service from them. If you have a good experience here then you should leave a review because they are genuine honest letting agents. I can understand if the landlord of a flat doesn't fix a boiler then you would blame the letting agent but it is not their fault it is the landlord.
The staff are so friendly and down to earth. This company is a breath of fresh air compared to the big corporate agents that there are in Glasgow.

I would love to report good things of Edzell but I'm afraid I cannot. I rented a property in Merchant City from Edzell from Jan 2015 and upon moving in it was nothing less than dirty and full of the previous tenants belongings (cupboards rammed full!), a mouldy carpet and other soiled and damaged goods - toilet not working etc. Despite being assured everything would be in cleaned and given to me in pristine condition..it was not. It took weeks to have everything fixed and only after multiple calls from myself. Whilst living there gained approval and completed lots
