We aim to provide for the characteristics of effective learning by observing how a child is learning and being clear about what we can do and provide in order to support each child to remain an effective and motivated learning. Tiptree has two pre-schools located in different areas of the village, the Baynards Site in Townsend Road and the Milldene Site in Barbrook Lane.
Both sites are independent of the schools in Tiptree. Our experienced and professional team is dedicated to providing the best possible care and education for children from the ages of 2 to 5 years old. We are registered to receive donations from many retailers when you start your shop at either Amazon Smile or easyfundraising.

Services
Our Pedagogy recognises what children know, understand & can do. We aim to provide for the characteristics of effective learning by observing how a child is learning and being clear about what we can do and provide in order to support each child to remain an effective and motivated learning. We give our children the opportunity to explore new experiences, take risks and build confidence in a fun and safe environment.
We are a registered charity Playgroup, run by an elected Committee of volunteers, mostly made up of parents/carers, family members of children attending our Pre-Schools. The Committee work in tandem with the Pre-School staff to ensure the smooth running of our Pre-School playgroups. We depend very much on the goodwill of parents/carers and their involvement with the Pre-School whether it be helping out occasionally or joining our committee.
As a charity run pre school we rely on fundraising events to provide resources for the children; everything from glitter to forest school is funded from our events. This year has been particularly hard on us. Additional cleaning has taken it's toll on our finances and we need your help more than ever to ensure we can continue to provide a fun, safe and happy place for children to learn, play and grow.
Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfil their potential. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right, and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.
Hello my name is Bev and I am the Manager of the Pre-School group. I have been at the setting since 2003, originally starting as a volunteer when my girls attended. Myself and the team have many years of child care between us, and are passionate about creating an environment where your child will be safe and happy.
