I practise and teach Hatha Yoga in the Broadstone and Poole areas. Hatha means Sun and Moon and just like Yin and Yang, yoga is about balancing opposing aspects of our mind, body and breath to bring harmony.

I trained with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2009 under Wendy Haring and Val Goodier. I am a trained 'Yoga For Healthy Lower Backs' teacher for a specialised 12-week evidence-based course to improve back health and function.

My online classes are accessed through Zoom and are interactive at the beginning and end rather than purely instructional so you can ask questions if you wish and I can help you to improve or make adjustments. Suitable for those with back pain past or present. Gentle stretches, breathing and relaxation suitable from about 14 weeks through to post natal 12 weeks.
A peaceful weekend retreat to leave you refreshed, relaxed and revitalised at Bonhays Eco Retreat Centre. Enjoy some 'me' time: taking care of yourself is the best way to recharge your batteries. Time slows down on a retreat because you can be present and not chase tasks. Yoga, mindfulness, indoor heated pool, nutritious vegetarian food, beautiful countryside, Jurassic Coast nearby, plenty of time to just BE.
Learn life long skills to improve comfort, health and well-being in this specially modified yoga course to provide you with postural improvements, mental focus and relaxation. These are therapeutic courses limited to smaller groups providing you with a self management programme. No need to wait until your back gives you debilitating pain, learn how to improve back health and function now.
Ideally a yoga mat, readily available in many places such as sports shops and supermarkets. You need layers of comfortable clothing to account for temperature changes and a blanket. You will also need a yoga block. The Poole Yoga Centre is fully equipped, other halls are not. We practice with bare feet but if you prefer not to then you need non slip socks such as ToeSox available in Dance shops or on Amazon or at the Yoga shop in Poole.
