Rainbow House Nursery
To provide a stimulating and caring environment where children develop an understanding of themselves and the world they live in. To nurture the social skills that embolden them to become independent, risk-taking individuals. Encourage a sense of adventure combined with learning through physical play, using natural resources and exploring our large outside areas and surrounding open spaces.

Outdoor play is an essential part of learning at Rainbow House, from exploring our twin climbing towers or digging in the mud kitchen, to saving lives in our on-site life boat. We look to create a stimulating environment that marries each child's sense of individuality with a strong sense of community.
Services
Successful cooperation between parents and teachers is important because it also has an effect on your child's development. This is why we encourage a culture of cooperation, continuous exchange between parent and teacher and joint planning of parties, events and excursions. Once a year, Rainbow House Nursery holds a father and child day.
Our baby room caters for children aged from 3 months to 21 months and is a calm and caring environment for your baby to begin their nursery journey. Staff provide each individual child with a selection of stimulating sensory activities throughout the day to promote their learning and development. Babies are encouraged to explore and discover the world around them, whether in our large outdoor areas or with trips into the local community.
It offers a large space for the children to play indendently or alongside each other, encouraging social skills and developing friendships. Children are encouraged to take risks and learn through play with every activity being considered as an opportuntiy to explore and discover. Physical play is an essential part of the day and the children are encouraged to go outside in all weathers.
Our Rainbows room caters for children aged 3-5 years and offers an exciting, stimulating environment in preperation for school. Rainbows consists of two rooms. The main room has a selection of games and toys that the children can freely access, with a cosy book corner, mark making area and creative area.
Here at Rainbow House we are extremly lucky to have such amazing outdoor spaces for your child to explore! Outdoor play and physical excercise are very important to us and we see the garden as an extention of our rooms. So many learning opportunities are to be had from being outside and we incorporate this into our curriculum planning on a daily basis.
