At First Place we aim to ensure that your child is as safe as possible and that their development and interests are always the most important aspect of their early years' experience. Your child's learning journey is a collection of different documents collected by us that provide a picture of their development under the seven areas of learning of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Donna the manager was very accommodating when I needed short term work. I worked here as bank staff for 2 weeks and I can honestly say it was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff and children are lovely and welcoming and the resources and activities are fun and exciting. Staff truly have eachother and the children's best interests at heart. The premises are clean and organised. Keep up the great work ladies and thankyou for having me x Hope the children are still enjoying the peppa pig books x

My daughter has been at first place nursery for approximately a year and a half and we are very happy with the excellent standard of care provided. My daughter looks forward to going to nursery and seeing her friends, and has benefited lots from being in that environment and learning new skills. They seem to get involved in a good variety of activities. The communication from the nursery is good, the outside space is really well managed and the staff all seem great. Highly recommended

Our daughter has been at FP since age 2 and she was very happy to go every time. We made the best decision for her when we chose FP. She grew up so nice here, all this thanks to the staff that show a lot of experience, very suportiv, encouraging, kind. We highly recommend First Place Nursery, good start for littles!

My son has been going to FP since his first birthday (he is now 20 months). All of his carers have been kind and wonderful with him. He really loves going into nursery. I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking about sending their child there.

A lovely nursery. My son is very happy here and has really progressed socially and it’s lovely watching his confidence grow . The staff are very friendly and attentive and we often receive updates regarding our sons progress . They also use an excellent catering company that cater for Coeliacs and my little boy seems very happy with the meals and snacks he is given .

My son has been at First Place since age 2 and he loves it. All staff are lovely, very caring and they give comprehensive feedback about his development and activities by way of the Early Years Log app and other meetings.
We feel he’s getting great care and attention and no doubt he is being well set up for school.
