Services
We are very pleased that you are considering choosing our school as the next step in your child's learning journey. Starting school is an exciting time for parents and children alike (albeit a little daunting at times, as well). Our hope is to make this transition as smooth as possible and support your child as they begin school life.
Fynamore is a secure, caring and happy school, providing a warm welcome for children, parents and visitors. We believe every person matters, and from the beginning we have encouraged a friendly and open partnership between home and school.

We aim to work with parents in partnership, to ensure that our broad and balanced curriculum provides each child with a wealth of experiences, together with the understanding and skills needed to achieve their potential. We pride ourselves on being approachable and ensuring the school is a safe environment where pupils are given clear guidelines on how to behave and are supported or extended to make good progress with their learning.
If you have not done so, please contact the Council to make a late application as soon as possible. Further information for parents considering applying for a Reception place at Fynamore may be found on our New Starters page. We have 2 classes of 30 children in each year, giving 60 places per year.
The safeguarding Governor has a wealth of experience in the field and provides secure external validation of your actions'. Fynamore Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In line with our safeguarding policy and statutory guidance we have clear procedures in school for responding to any concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing.
Following consultation with Pupils, Staff, Parents and Governors in 2016/17 we developed a new Vision Statement for Fynamore Community Primary School. The statement is born from the collation of hundreds of ideas. These ideas have also been stored so we can continue to develop the school buildings and resources appropriately.
