Oliver Tomkins Church Of England Junior School
Here at Oliver Tomkins, we strive to ensure our school is one with a happy and caring environment. Services
Oliver Tomkins Nursery Infant and Junior School is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School with Swindon Local Education Authority and the Diocese of Bristol. It takes its name from Bishop Oliver Tomkins who officially opened the building in 1980. Bishop Oliver Tomkins and the Diocese of Bristol Educational Committee, promoted the building of Oliver Tomkins Schools in West Swindon.
Keep up to date with a range of resources that will help keep your children safe whilst they work online. It includes a programme specifically for children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 with 12 themes, 6 areas, over 250 activities and challenges and 1000s of hours of fun and activity. This programme is also great for family play and fun.

Our School Council are working towards attaining the Gold Unicef UK Rights Respecting School. See the documents below for more information. The School Council will be writing an article for the School Newspaper to inform Parents and Children about their activities and fundraising. The School Council have already raised money for Soccor Aid and the Katikamu Sebamala Primary School in Uganda.
Oliver Tomkins Voluntary Aided C of E Schools are schools with a Christian foundation, which seeks to express their Christian character by serving families in the local community and by providing a Christian ethos where children and their families can feel valued and affirmed.

There is an opportunity to experience the meaning of the Christian faith in the welcome that is offered to all and in the relationships of love and care that characterise the shared life of the school.
