Wanborough Primary School
Wanborough Primary School is a vibrant and successful school situated in the lovely village of Wanborough, near Swindon, Wiltshire. We currently have 202 children taught in 7 classes from Reception through to Year 6, all children in each class are in the same age group. Our delightful children are highly motivated to learn and are keen to make a positive contribution in all areas of the curriculum and within the local community.

The modern learning environment, combined with attractive school grounds allows the children to thrive in a safe and caring establishment. Academic standards are regularly well above national averages and we are working hard to maximise the exciting potential we have within our school. We have a creative curriculum which puts enjoyment at the centre of learning.
Services
With a play on the word GROW, we have identified four key areas we want to bring to the heart of everything we do and what Wanborough Primary School will aspire to improve and achieve further upon. GROW has been introduced across all elements of Wanborough Primary School with children, staff, governors and parents all having their part to play to keep the school improving in provision and outcomes.
Each month we celebrate a different value with our children and encourage them to act this value out in their everyday lives. The value will be introduced at the beginning of the month and teachers will use PSHE lessons and additional circle time to develop understanding of this value. At the end of the month a certificate will be awarded by class teachers to a child that has demonstrated that value consistently.
Headteacher's Welcome School Prospectus School Uniform Policy What should I do if.? What does my child need? Our current published admission number (PAN) is 30 places for each class. From Spring 2021 we have been running our latest Erasmus funded project called 'Small Steps to a Better World'. This project will be raising our awareness and understanding of environmental and climate goals, in collaboration with our French partner school, Ecole du Lac. We look forward to the activities, workshops, education and enjoyment these will provide for all our stakeholders and the wider community.
