Starter: although I ate it the poached egg was rock hard and obviously not cooked to order. Main: macaroni & cheese was sent back as it was so dry with no sauce, the waitress took it away right away and replaced it with another one equal dry. Also if you order a bottle of wine would you not expect the waiter to put said wine into your glass first… of or is that just me! I have to say that my friend had no complaints with her order. We were charged for my main but waiter duly amended the bill. This was a lunchtime not obvious busy so would not have liked to be in of an evening when the

I’ll be back!
Set in the heart of the superb Merchant City this lovely restaurant is a must visit!
The Scottish menu is delightful with dishes for all tastes. The haggis croquettes with Whisky sauce are awesome as were the crab cakes with katsu curry sauce that my wife loved.
Opting for a simple fish and chips on a Saturday night seems a bit bland but it was the complete opposite, so fresh and absolutely delightful with the best chips you’ve ever tasted.
With a great setting, awesome food, very friendly staff and very reasonable pricing this is our new ‘go to’ restaurant

Very friendly attentive staff, food was excellent, love the way the Sunday roast comes with an extra dish of gravy, & the cauliflower cheese in it's own dish.
Cullen skink & haggis croquettes to start, then Roast beef Sunday roast, followed by sticky toffee pudding with ice cream & a chocolate brownie with drambuie cream

Wow, stumbled across this whilst in Merchant sq and being unimpressed with the indoor scene.
It was empty when we arrived probably due to weather and early lunchtime arrival.
The lunch menu was extremely good value and two of us ate and drank well for under £30.
I really wanted mince and tatties, was perfect and massive bowl of seasonal veg was crunchy but just needed a dash more seasoning. A nice surprising find
