Fantastic food that wasn't rushed upon us. Smiley, very attentive and lovely staff and although we hadn't been for a good few years (we really need to get down more often) it hasn't lost any of it's it's airy, laid back nice vibe. A lovely night to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary and the first time bringing our daughter with us too.

Having had beautiful meal at Il Pavone on Saturday evening 4th October with my two sisters and her husband I was bitterly disappointed that I was overcharged £68. Now you may think no!! How can someone be over charged that much. My brother in law generally doesn’t check bill however I thought it seemed bit expensive and it was a bottle of wine and two soft drinks added to our bill apparently…. it was the cashier who pressed the wrong button. Just an apology was offered and nothing else. I love this restaurant as it is so good to get half portions as we like few starters. Very disappointed

Before Friday, the 31st of July, my Dad and I had never been to Il Pavone. My Mum had been with her friends on many occasions though. We decided to go to Il Pavone as I had to go into Glasgow after work and it meant we didn't have to rush home. I was very impressed with the selection of courses and the fact that you can order "half portions" of the main meals - a great idea, especially if you're having a starter! The staff were very helpful and attentive without being overburdening and the ambience of the restaurant was nice and comforting. I'd definitely go back, probably with my Girlfriend.

Went for dinner. The restaurant was quite quiet which was a nice change. I thought the pricing was a bit strange with some things being a little more than I thought they should and some being a little less however they offered a good range of meals which catered to various dietary requirements. The only thing that stops it being a 5 star was despite me telling the waitress my order and her coming back a minute later to check she still got it wrong. Just write it down already. I don't see the point in this recent trend of staff not writing down orders even if they're small, especially

I'm disappointed with this visit and let me tell you why after I give you the positives
Staff are lovely and friendly
Seating and decor pleasant
The cheese cake was amazing!!!
This give it all a star each...... Which is lucky as this was a 2 star visit for me
However -
The place was quite, plenty of available tables yet took over 30mins for our food to arrive, expected it to be faster
I ordered (can't remember the name they called it) chicken with bacon and cheese on top, green beans, broccoli, potatoes and an Italian tomato sauce
It was all presentation and no substance,

Pretty restaurant located in Princess Square - really liked the location (especially if you sit outside) and armosphere. I went a couple of days ago for a quick dinner with my boyfriend - we had just a main course each, i went for Penne Vodka which were delicious and beautifully cooked, and he went for a calzone, which he said he was really tasty. Staff was really friendly and helpful and attentive - exactly what you want when you are in a restaurant!
As you can see, my feedbacks are positive and i have nothing to complain about really, but at the same time i didnt have the feeling "WOW this

Met up with friends from the Athletes Village, Commonwealth Games, where we had all volunteered. We were seated outside the restaurant in the biz of the shopping centre and chose from the fixed price menu. I arrived later than the others as I had a meeting in the morning which overran so they had ordered by the time I arrived. Service was quick - setting a place for me, taking my order and bringing me a much needed wine. My meal came only slightly after everyone else's.
Two of our group had pizza, one had pasta, one had steak and I had seafood risotto - yum, yum. One of our group has

This is a pretty nice date night restaurant, if you can deal with the little kids tiring themselves out in the center of the mall. If not, you could always sit inside, but it's a bit cramped.
There seems to be no music? If you're sitting outside you'll hear some of the music from neighboring Darcy's, but it's still a little odd. Probably good for my wife, as she's grown quite tired of me dancing in my seat when "my jams" come on.
My wife swears by the rigatoni amore, which has chicken, broccoli, and some kind of cream sauce. She also has the mozzarella

Went here on a Thursday night with my mum and cousin. I had purchased a itison deal for 2 pizza or pasta dishes for £11 which I thought was good value.
Since there was 3 of us, my mum and cousin took advantage of the offer and ordered the salmon pasta and prosciutto pizza to share between them. I went for a seafood salad. The plates took a while to come but the restaurant was quite busy. The waiters seemed flustered and didn't seem like they were paying attention. The food was average. In fact the salad was really disappointing. The prawns were tiny and the seafood wasn't very

Without a doubt, one of the best little places I've ever had the pleasure of filling my stomach in. There are a couple of things that would normally make me give a place a lower rated review that this restaurant succumbed to, but the food was so gloriously good that I can't even fault the place for them.
Colin, our friend Clare and I all went here for a late lunch/early dinner yesterday and what an idea that was! Seeing as Glasgow is still absolutely heaving with people claiming all their Boxing Day/post Christmas sales, we did have a bit of a wait before we were seated, but only about

You'll find Il Pavone in the basement of the delightful Princes Square shopping centre. I say basement, but if you've been to the floor of the Princes Square that I'm talking about - you'll know there's nothing basement-y about it. Instead it boasts a collection of really nice restaurants, with a great Italian piazza feel.
Conveniently, Il Pavone is a great Italian restaurant which feels really authentic despite the fact that it's in the heart of Glasgow. Their menu consists of a whole lot of pizza and pasta dishes, as well as salads other traditional Italian fare

Il Pavone is one of my old favourites - I used to eat here with my family regularly when I was growing up and remember it for huge portions of Italian favourites like lasagne and carbonara. I recently visited it again for lunch (after a 10-15 year absence!) and found that I still loved it. The portions are still huge but the food is tasty, comforting and freshly made. I had a mediterranean vegetable risotto (which could have fed 3!) which was full of flavour and packed with different types of vegetables. The menu has a wide choice of pasta, risotto and pizza options so there should be something
