You can also call us or drop by our surgery to arrange any appointments you may need and to ask any questions you may have. We're really easy to find as we are located in the town centre next to one of Folkestone's famous landmarks, the wonderful Clock Tower. There's ample free dedicated parking if you're driving, there's a bus stop if you're using public transport and there's even a bike rack if you're cycling. I can’t thank them enough for their help.
One of dog has a Belgium passport, we went to France in august and October without a problem but Tuesday at 6.30 am we were told she couldn’t go as she didn’t have an AHC. You can imagine my surprise and the stress!!
The eurotunnel staff give you a list and it’s a mad rush to found a vet who will do the form. So many said no but Abbeywell vets said yes.
We had a wait a bit as we were not the only one in that situation. We didn’t care as it meant we were going to see our family for Christmas.

I cannot recommend Abbeywell enough… our visit yesterday was traumatic.. we have a very very nervous rescue dog and the staff were absolutely amazing with her.. after spending a long time trying to gain her trust the vet went out of his way to check her over and treat her problem.. Every member of staff were so professional and understanding.. thank you all of you! 😊

We visited on 20th July 2021. We had incorrect paperwork to take a cat to France. We had fantastic service from Annie who was kind, understanding and caring. She helped us get an appointment with the vet almost immediately and we were able to get the required documents within an hour. I was amazed at how quick and efficient they were. Hopefully I'll never be in the situation again but I would recommend them most highly to any local or slightly disorganised person heading to the continent without the correct paperwork!!!

Informative and professional independent veterinary surgery. The nurse and vet ensured that our dog got the absolute best care, and made time for him at very short notice on a Sunday. Very accommodating and reassuring, ensuring I understood everything regarding his treatment plan. Also received follow up via email which was unexpected but so helpful. I've been to other vets in the area who wouldn't have this personal touch and it's very much appreciated.
