At Zebedee, both in Parson's Green and Tetbury, we want to create a happy, stimulating and inclusive environment in which the children can flourish and develop at their own pace and in their unique way; both socially and academically. We work hard at fostering a community where both children and families are welcome and integral to school life.
As a Christian school, there is a moral thread that runs throughout the day teaching the children to respect and treat each other with kindness, consideration and affirmation. We offer a wide curriculum helping to develop creativity and imagination and instil a love for learning in these early years.

Services
We are an enthusiastic team and work hard at fostering a community where both children and families are welcome and a part of school life. For under 3's we have 1 member of staff to 4 children. For rising 3-5's we have 1 member of staff to 8 children and a nursery assistant when appropriate. Qualifications: We have 5 full-time staff.
We follow the EYFS curriculum, which establishes the prime and specific areas of that lay the foundations of development. We ensure your child is supported in the key characteristics of effective learning at such a critical time. Children learn to engage with other people and their environment by playing, exploring, active learning and thinking critically.
If a place is offered and accepted, a deposit of 800 (for Parsons Green) / 400 (for Tetbury) will be payable one year before your child starts at Zebedee. This sum will be credited to your final term's account and is non-refundable if, for any reason, the place is not taken up. The child is accepted from term to term.
Two nursery school teachers from the Zebedee Nursery School run the group. Activities include artwork, table toys, construction toys, the home corner, sand and water; play dough, stories, songs and music. As part of the nursery school the Toddler Group is an excellent preparation for children moving on to the school as they become familiar with the surroundings and the teachers without being away from their parents.
The Zebedee doors open and we meet together in assembly: this includes the date, day and month; weather; prayers and songs. Then we head off for registration and choose our little helpers for the day. It's table time (with key worker), we do groupwork, bookwork, letter/number equipment, structured toys and pencil control.
