Services
Tara House Montessori School was founded by Helena Ramsahoye and takes its name from the ancient seat of the Celtic High Kings of Ireland. These powerful kings founded churches and monasteries to ensure that their own children were well-educated. Helena founded Tara House with the belief that all children had the right to the best education.

Our setting will work with children, young people and vulnerable adults, parents and the community to ensure the rights and safety of children and to give them the very best start in life.
The experienced providers are committed to providing children with excellent quality care and education. Leaders have high expectations of staff and guide them through high-quality support and super-vision so that outcomes for children continually improve. At Tara House we are aware that every child is different and when it comes to settling your child at nursery that each child may react and respond in different ways. We aim to provide both you and your child the support you need to make this process as easy as it can be. We highly recommend that you try to attend some of the summer school sessions as this will allow for us to provide the one to one attention needed.
All children are assigned a keyworker who is then responsible for tracking and recording your child's development. Observations will be recorded using a digital learning journal, which parents can access any time. Each individual child is planned for on a weekly basis. This is informed by the observations of the child noting their interests, play preferences, milestones & accomplishments.
