The Beanstalk has been running for over 30 years and is situated within St Peter's Church in Hammersmith, where we have created a warm and caring atmosphere for children to enjoy their first learning experience. The large garden is used by children daily, whatever the weather. Our nursery is a safe and happy environment where children aged 2 - 5 years old will grow in confidence and independence in preparation not only for school, but for life.
I believe there is a certain magic within these Beanstalk walls. It is a sense of caring, warmth, nurturing and love passed from generation to generation of teachers, children and parents. The Beanstalk was founded by Camilla Peshall in 1988 and I joined the team in 2000. After a period of illness Camilla handed the school to me and I officially took over the ownership in 2004.

Services
Our aim at The Beanstalk is to give our children a safe and happy environment where they can grow in confidence and independence in preparation not only for school, but for life. At The Beanstalk, we treat each child as a person in his/her own right, and we value each individual for what they bring to the nursery, be it their different levels of ability, their religion or different cultural background.
At Beanstalk we work towards the 'Every Child Matters' outcomes, helping children to be healthy, stay safe, and making positive contribution while enjoying and achieving. Each child has a My Montessori Child Profile, a system that records all relevant aspects of children's academic and personal progress.
Children have a natural fascination for wildlife and nature, and being outside is a perfect forum for them to engage in stick collecting, naming trees and flowers, bug hunting, taking note of seasons changes and using natural resources for science, knowledge and art purposes. At The Beanstalk, garden play happens on a daily basis and we have waterproof suits for wet days.
The highly qualified and experienced provider is committed to providing children with an excellent quality of care and education. The provider uses self-evaluation extremely well to identify and maintain high-quality improvements. She supports staff to do high- quality training to maintain excellent knowledge and practice.
We very much look forward to welcoming your child to The Beanstalk Montessori Nursery School. Once you have registered, you will receive a letter confirming a place/or waiting list place at the school. There is a non-refundable registration fee of 50. A year prior to school start we will ask for a deposit of 300, which is refundable from the last term's fees or fees in lieu of notice.

Beanstalk Montessori is THE best nursery and I would very highly recommend it. All three of my children went through Beanstalk and had the most happy and wonderful time. Beanstalk is a family and such a warm and welcoming environment for children to have fun, play, develope and learn. It's a very special place indeed and we were very sad to leave when our youngest moved on to school. We will all always have extremely fond memories of our time spent at Beanstalk and it was a fantastic start for our kids.
