Services
Ladybird Nurseries implements the new Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage and The National Standards for Under 8's Day-care and Childminding. These specific areas will ensure that every child will be able to meet the aims of improving their learning outcomes and making sure that it's every child's right "to grow up safe, healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and with economic well being".
Within a nursery environment, one of the most important aspects is for the children to have access to outdoor play and fresh air. Here at Ladybird, we have had specially created gardens which cater to the age range of our children and are fully equipped and secure. The idea behind outdoor play is that we are able to take the classroom curriculum outside.
Activity time involves a range of age appropriate activities. The activities are planned on a weekly and monthly basis with the children's progress and development in mind. It includes: pre-reading skills, topic work, writing and number skills, arts and crafts, cooking, construction, design and information technology, music and movement, and science and investigation.
We pride ourselves at Ladybird on the quality, performance and professionalism of all our staff. Most of our staff members have worked at Ladybird for many years, especially the Key members. The Baby Nursery Manager has worked with us for 25 years and other members have worked with us for 14 years, 12 years and 9 years.
Parents are encouraged to discuss their child's progress and development throughout the year. In addition the nursery will send home progress records at regular intervals and a parents evening will be held to discuss their child's development in depth. Also, parents are kept informed of and invited to contribute towards topic planning.

Fantastic nursery, very caring, friendly, creative and professional stuff. I'm particularly grateful for their flexibility and understanding, so couldn't be happier. My child blended in immediately and is looking forward to coming in every time! This means a lot to me. Food is fresh and delicious, baby always eats it all. Outdoors space is lovely. Located right in the park which makes it easy to go for lovely walks straight after. The nursery provides weekly online reports on each individual child's progress with photos and constructive feedback, advise and homework whenever necessary. I am at

Our daughter started going at Ladybird nursery when she was 6 months old, and until 4 and half when went to school. We are very happy with the way she has been cared of during those years. The carers are caring, positive and friendly, it is a family environment. The kids often go to the garden, and there is a smooth transition between the baby room and the preschool room, which was very appreciated for our daughter. We have now our son going to the baby room! I would definitely recommend this nursery for parents looking for a caring environment for their child, which respects the growth path of
