Our spacious kennels all have attaching exercise runs and are large enough to accommodate two, or more, dogs from the same family. On dry days, each dog will have the opportunity to try one of our four purpose built outdoor play areas. Our two home from home kennel buildings, one for medium/giant dogs and the other for toy/small dogs, offer a more relaxed and quieter environment to the main kennel building.
These are situated in tranquil surroundings a distance away from the kennel buildings, so any nervous cats will feel totally at ease. All our chalets are very spacious with scratch posts and toys. A small number of chalets provide deluxe accommodation, by way of an outdoor exercise area, giving your cat freedom of choice during their stay.
Based at Clarks Hill Kennels and Cattery, we are here to cater for all your pet grooming needs. We offer a warm welcome to guests staying at our pet hotel and to non-doggy residents. The well-being and comfort of your pet is our top priority during their visit.
Catering for all breeds, both large and small, we provide a dedicated grooming service, including bathing, drying, clipping, hand-stripping, trimming or styling your pet(s) to the highest standard.We use only top quality grooming products and shampoos, including aromatherapy, that soothes and calms nervous clients, pia-colada which restores the natural oils in the coat leaving a glowing shine.

Our Super Premium, hypo-allergenic ranges of dog food provide all the recommended daily vitamins and nutrients for a dog's total lifelong health and wellbeing. All our foods are enriched with natural antioxidants and essential omega fatty acids. Furthermore, the Clarks Hill range contains no added artificial colourings, additives or preservatives.
Unfortunately this is not something we can offer at the moment, please accept our apologies. Every dog is given a daily playtime in one of our three outdoor play areas (weather permitting). We rotate each kennel individually, so that no dog mixes with another. However, they are able to see other dogs playing at the same time.

I had to find a kennels at short notice due to a family illness. Spoke to Iain who said I could make a open ended booking for as long as required. They asked what type of food Lucy would require when I dropped her off and made her stay as comfortable as possible. I paid for 2 weeks upfront as an initial booking in the end we only needed 10 days and the excess payment was refund within the hour. Lucy seemed to really enjoy her first stay in the kennels which I was worried about as she is 8 years old and has never been away from her home before.
