Todsworthy Farm provides two superb 18th century self catering holiday cottages ideally situated as part of a traditional family farm, but in a location where you can enjoy unrivalled comfort and tranquillity. Both holiday cottages are decorated to a Four Star Gold standard and equipped with all the comfort, mod cons and amenities you would expect to find in any luxury accommodation.
In the past, farm workers on Todsworthy Farm were rewarded with cider produced in the barn which is now the cottage we called The Cider Press. The apple orchards that produced the cider still exists, but unfortunately the press is no longer functional. The granite stone of the cider press can be found as a feature of the garden alongside the cottages.
The Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is an area around the Tamar, Tavy and Lynher rivers. The area is famous for its mining heritage landscape. On one side is Devon, the other Cornwall. The Tamar Valley has an intricate, deeply incised river that meanders just below Launceston and Tavistock.
What a fantastic holiday cottage to come to. The welcome package was gratefully received. Jonathan the owner, is a warm and friendly person and is always at hand for any help required. There are lots to do and see in the local areas. Local pub in worth a visit (Tavistock Arms). It has been a wet weeks, but we took the kids to Trethorne Leisure Park.
My name is Jonathan, as someone with mobility needs, I realise how difficult it can be for those with similar needs to find suitable accommodation in Cornwall and Devon. As a very independent person, I felt it essential that the accommodation we created should help make our guests own independence to be one of our main priorities.

We stayed here recently to celebrate my mothers 70th birthday. From the initial enquiry to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. i cannot fault the service. the cottage was perfect and exceeded expectations. the cream tea, bottle of rose, flowers and bread on arrival were such a lovely treat and my only disappointment was that we could not stay longer! Highly recommend.
