Sherrill Farm is a complex of 13 delightful self catering cottages set in Tavistock within 16 acres of Devon countryside. All of the cottages have been lovingly converted from the original 300 year old barns and farmhouse whilst still maintaining many of the original features. Most of our cottages are clustered around the central courtyard with ample parking and easy access into the spacious accommodation.
Each cottage is fully equipped with everything you need to make Sherrill Farm your home from home whilst you explore all that the region has to offer. We have plenty to do on-site should you not want to venture too far during your stay. We have a magnificent indoor heated swimming pool, fishing lakes and tennis court.

Services
The original Farmhouse is the largest of the holiday cottages at Sherrill Farm. With 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 22 guests, it is the perfect holiday home for extended family holidays or groups of friends coming together to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion. This period Farmhouse is packed full of character and has the added bonus of its own large private garden and an 8-seat hot tub.
Coriander is a detached cottage that has been sympathetically renovated from one of Sherrill Farm's original barns. This three-bedroom cottage has retained many of its original features and is an ideal base for a family looking to enjoy a holiday in this beautiful rural setting. The swimming pool, sauna, games barn and children's play area is right on your doorstep, together with the large area of lawn in which these facilities are located.
Parsley is a cosy and very well equipped two-bedroom ground floor cottage, converted from one of the original barns and overlooking the central courtyard at Sherrill Farm. The cottage will suit one or two couples or a small family looking for a week's holiday or just a few days break at any time of year.
Oregano is a quaint ground floor two bedroom cottage sleeping 4 plus a cot. It is perfect for a family holiday or weekend break from which to explore Devon and Cornwall. Located around the central courtyard the cottage having handy parking spaces outside. No need to lug suitcases more than a few feet!
Dill Cottage with views of the pretty courtyard and the garden is one of Sherrill Farm's three lovely one bedroom cottages, each ideal for romantic breaks for two. This ground floor cottage has been set up to ensure romance is a priority, with a Jacuzzi bath. Dill has parking right outside and is also our only 'pet free cottage'.

We enjoyed a happy holiday here. My disabled husband managed very well in Oregano as it has a wet room. His scooter didn't like the stones in the courtyard though. Scruffy visited several times always wagging his tale.
The farms position is very central and both coasts were easily reached. We ate twice at the Archer Arms ,very good meals. We did a click and collect shop at Launceston Tesco which worked very well.

Could do with alot of work. The bedroom i was in was the only one without carpets but laminate flooring which was noisey as hell to walk across. The doors had what looked like yale locks removed from most of the bedrooms. Bedroom door handles were hanging off. Wifi was awful. However as a cottage it had walls which kept heat in and an excellent location to use as a hub for day trips out. This has the potential to be a amazing place just the owner needs to spend aswell as take the money from customers.

Amazing location,perfect for family. Loads of activities. Jacuzzi perfect for evenings or long nights and the swimming pool perfect for the day time. Don't expect it to look like a hotel it is a completely different experience. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful

Another lovely holiday, this place is just the perfect getaway, we stayed in Great Meadow which was well equipped with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the wood burner in the evening. We were pretty much able to amuse ourselves with the pool, fishing and playing outside for the kids without having to go anywhere, felt very safe and homely and I leave feeling relaxed for the first time in ages. Cannot wait to come back!

Just had a lovely week at the farmhouse at Sherrill Farm. The property had plenty of room and was really well stocked but it was looking a little tired in places and our mattress was old, stained and quite lumpy. The pool was great and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It's a very relaxed place and kids really enjoyed the freedom to explore and play.
