Hosts were wonderful and even gave me a lift to a wedding venue to save moving all of the cars. Lovely breakfast and friendly atmosphere.

Stayed for a couple of days whilst on a walking break. Great hosts. Clean , comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast.Couldn't have chosen a better location as we were a short walk away from the town and a short drive from the moor.

Great host, great place and An great environment. Couldn't get any better. If you're planning to do something ask Paul (the host) for tips in that area, he knows a lot of great places and roads to get you to your destination. Keep up the good work Paul!!!!

Fantastic overnight stay. Triple glazed so no road noise at all. Great breakfast served in a glass conservatory overlooking the River Tavy. Brilliant hosts too.

We stayed for two days in this lovely cottage. Paul (the owner) was very helpful and understanding when traffic and poor weather delayed our arrival on the first night.
The rooms are small with two single beds, but sweet. No ensuite but easy access to the lavatory.
Breakfast is homemade between 8-9 and the view from the conservatory is just gorgeous.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay in Tavistock.

My wife and I stayed this last July for a number of nights, excellent hosts, great breakfast, room very clean and the bed most comfortable. Paul and Carla are wonderful hosts can not do enough for you, highly recommended. Our family from England and Canada stay at the Kingfisher Cottage when visiting family in Tavistock, very central to the historic town centre. Maybe they will be serving up Canadian Pancakes with real Canadian maple syrup!
