Hyde Pre-school

These are our current opening hours. All sessions take place at Hyde Church Community Centre apart from Forest School which is held at a nearby woodland. Our Forest Schools sessions are only available to children who attend at least one Pre-School session per week and are happy and settled with us.

We distribute newsletters during the first week of each half term including details of weekly themes, events, fundraising and general Pre-School news. Any additional information is put on our noticeboard and emailed to parents during the term. We use an online learning journal, Tapestry, to maintain two-way communications between Pre-School and parents.

Hyde Pre-School is community-run by an elected committee of parents. A small number of committee members are co-opted from the local community to ensure continuity. We usually have one meeting each term when we can discuss the day-to-day running, state of financial affairs and fundraising.

The meeting is followed by a coffee and catch-up session where all parents are welcome to join us to hear about how the Pre-School is run and any upcoming activities or fund raising.All parents are encouraged to support the Pre-School and new ideas and views are openly welcomed. We have a fundraising committee who organise various events, cake sales and grant applications throughout the year, details are included in the newsletters or via email.
