Had a meal with friends last night as always excellent food and friendly service don't go a lot but when we do always enjoy it would highly recommend to visitors and locals booking is a must.

Visiting whitehaven in September and had dinner here with some old friends. Didn't know this place existed and was pleasantly surprised. Food was very good and the waiter super friendly, funny and couldn't do enough for us without being intrusive. Wednesday night so it was fairly quiet will go again when I'm back in December

The stay here well exceeded our expectations. The rooms and hotel itself were lovely, the service was very friendly and amazing, and the food was probably the best we've had in Whitehaven (had both breakfast and dinner).

We ate here in the hotel restaurant at the recommendation of two people we met on the street. The manager had had 2 no-shows hence we got in. Exceptional food, excellent service and nothing we could fault at all about the meal. Apparently the place is normally booked many weeks ahead and we could see why. It's not cheap but it's not expensive either and it is exceptional value for money, worked out at £50pp with cocktails and drinks, and 3+2 courses between us. Well done on the best meal I've ever had in a hotel restaurant.

This hotel is amazing we went for the weekend and loved every minute of it the staff was lovely and so welcoming they couldn’t do enough for us! The food is spot on, rooms are spotless and so cosy really enjoyed are stay here would look to go back sometime in the future.. Lauren & John x

Wonderful food and service. Portions were very generous and tasty. The decor is really nice and the covid measures excellent. We saw tables and chairs being thoroughly cleaned between use. Highly recommend having a meal there.
