This hotel is first class. The staff and owners make you feel like one of the family and nothing is too much trouble. I stayed for two weeks and had a great time. The food is delicious and the company warm. I have stayed here a number of times with work and I find the place better each time I go. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent and the food is amazing.

Services
All produce is sourced as locally as possible, using the best quaility ingredients and freshly prepared with Milk, Cream, Butter and Clotted Cream from the Bailey Ground Dairy. After your meal why not relax and unwind in our comfortable Lounge Bar, where local beers and a good selection of whiskies are available.
A full cooked breakfast is served from 6.15am Mon - Fri. A continental breakfast is available at weekends unless a cooked breakfast is arranged for group bookings. We have recently refurbished the Bailey Ground Hotel and all 28 rooms are en-suite with colour TV, free WIFI acess and tea/coffee making facilities.

Proper bang on place, have nothing negative to say about the hotel and it's stay who are welcoming and friendly, only pause was the main entrance and stairs were being repainted and what remained of an old carpet was still on the stairs, if notified about this i may of changed my dates as the smell of gloss paint was everywhere, this was our only negative but looking at the standard of the finish and new carpet on the landings already completed this hotel will be inviting clean and cozy once its all finished. The beach is across the road and if you want a treat book Room 1, waking up to the sound

Overall a nice clean place with wonderful staff, however booked in for 2 nights and unfortunately they were having a problem with the refrigerator unit rattling all through the night so sleep was limited to when the unit stopped for around half an hour before starting up again. The staff did try and solve the problem, which we were grateful for. On returning home sleep was our first priority.

We have booked for 4 nights at the hotel and found the area we were in was newly decorated and clean and welcoming the bar served first class beer that was in perfect condition not dirty old pipes serving a handful of pints someone looks after the pipes really well. The hotel is in the middle of a big make over but did not affect our stay on anyway.Whilst I am a painter and decorator and can see the less than perfect decorating you can be assured it is clean and welcoming the staff are very attentive and nothing is to much trouble a.
