The Victoria Hotel is a family run hostelry with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Extensively renovated in 2006 it features six quality en-suite bedrooms all with digital flat-panel television and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is named after Queen Victoria and to keep the 'royal theme' each of our bedrooms are named after her children, Louise, Alice, Leopold, Beatrice, Edward and Alfred.

Your hosts, Belinda Munro and Gordon Wilson and all their staff look forward to welcoming you and will make your stay at the Victoria Hotel a most pleasurable experience. The hotel is situated in the village of Drigg on the West Cumbrian Coast. It was built around 1849 to service the Furness Railway that still runs along the coast from Barrow-in-Furness to Carlisle.

Nice little pub next to the railway, be aware that from the outside it can look shut, dirty windows, paint cans etc on windowsills, but I think they are having some work done.
I didn't sample the food however the food that I saw behind brought out to the diners looked pretty good (and I didn't see much being complained about or sent back).
I did sample the beer and it was fantastic.
